question: why does the title say"only christians can do this"?
Because Christians have the Holy Spirit of God to guide them and they give and help others out of unconditional love which only comes from God.
Buddhists on the other hand only give alms to Buddhist monks (living idols) because they believe that by doing so they will receive blessings; a very selfish motive indeed.
I've lived in southeast Asia now for about 7 years and have studied the culture here.

man, I just went past this homeless gypsy guy. I was throwing out the garbage and he was looking for stuff in the garbage, and I didn't give him any money, when I was coming back I was ready to give him some but I'd missed my chance- he had left....

While I was preparing our boxes for OCC '08 operation with my kids, I've thought to drop by the Samaritan's Purse website. I am posting their video to show the true faith in action.
We are so happy we can be part in this. I know what a great joy can those boxes bring to children and parents alike from the time we lived in Romania. What a great blessing the Christmas boxes were for our family.
