IF Lucas deleted Jar Jar Binks, rewrote the dialogues, recast the actors, went easy on the CGI, and then reshot the whole thing, I reckon episodes I - III could make decent prequels.

Hayden was generally really bad and I think it wasn't just the stupid dialogue. The love story didn't work at all and was not convincing at all - unlike Leia and Han's relationship.
