wow... stressful production. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night wondering if there was a leak.

Tell me about it. There used to be many many more of these, but they have been getting plugged lately. No surprise with EPA concerns and such. To much liability. I need to go get some videos from Caddo Lake. They have many wells over the water too.
That's why no one swims in Galveston Bay ^^

There are sensors and devices that can detect any leakage and set off an alaram

Very true, still can't get myself to buy one in the bay though. The bond requirements are very high for offshore wells.
