the best companies to work for in the US provide better Paternity Leave plans. to make this mandatory through the gov't is tricky cuz how will the gov't enforce it? will it reduce productivity? I actually don't care. i like it. i like that daycare plan too. maybe in california?

I think this is a moral issue, fuck the companies. Slavery was economically sound, so what, it was abolished on moral grounds and human rights. I am with you "I like, I like" and its right!
@ElementSid115 There is more and more popular and political support for this according to the cover article in Newsweek this week. Ultimately, supporting families does not cut productivity -- it increases it.
@DadLabs Awesome! Although I never plan to have kids, I actually want to set up my own business and have employees. I would have done this in my business regardless. I am going to regardless..........set an example.
