  • How in the world was this not laggy!? Teach me in the ways of the force, master jedi?

  • @epicguy103

No. My question to you is:

    Why would yours be laggy?

  • @ApacheC424 Hmm, what a question to ponder, master...Maybe the computer I run it on is the cause of the lag.

  • @epicguy103

.............I am using a 6 year old office PC and can run CFS3 fine. (Thats not what I record with).

  • Hey do you still play online in pvt match? Can you tell ne what your game name is so I can join?

  • @22aucutt

I'll host a few more games soon, I have been busy with some other things lately.

Once I have it up and running again I'll post some connection info.

  • Hey guys, how do you select a target?

  • @ApacheC424 nice vid!!!

how can you make the bomb-view on 02:16 ?

    thanks for answer!

  • thats y these guys blow up after just a short burst.....right!

  • the Typhoon doesnt have a bunch of crappy .50cal machine guns like a mustang or p47. It has 4x 20mm cannons which are alot bigger and do ALOT more damage.

  • @ApacheC424

A 20mm round is roughly double the size of a .50cal round. They pack more punch, and fire slower. So they packed 4 onto these planes and eventually saw service as ground attack aircraft. Modernly, ground attack aircraft still use 20mm, like in the A-10s Grau8 Autocannon. Machine guns just dont cut it.

  • @ApacheC424 Actually 20mm is not double the size of 50 BMG. It is only 7.3mm larger. Second, the A-10 doesn't use the 20mm, but a 30mm. Additionally, it's not a Grau8, but a GAU-8.

  • @ApacheC424 The GAU-8 fires a 30mm round, and it is not an autocannon, it's a gatling cannon. An autocannon is a single barrel design that's powered by a motor, where as the GAU-8's gatling design has 7 barrels powered by a motor. But you are correct, the majority of modern aircraft use the 20mm General Dynamics M61 gatling cannon. And the .50 BMG is a VERY powerful cartridge, more than adequate for air-to-air combat.

  • how about setting ur weapon efficiency to realistic??

  • @PL135 it is on fully realistic and limited ammo.

  • hey how do you finish a reconnaissance mission???? upload a vid plz!!!

  • Well I wont have a video since I just re-installed everything on my laptop after a hard drive failure. But I can tell you what to do - get to the target area and basically fly around the area for a while. Ususally you will come across something that will be a target. An easy way is to fly out about 10nm then warp back, go a different way 10nm then warp back. Its annoyingly boring, but it gets done.

  • ok, thankx, but if you dare to upload, tell me please.

  • is this online play?

  • no.

  • hey as you do to fly as well I have it but not well controlled with the keyboard?

    as you do?

  • I cannot understand what you are trying to ask.

  • hey guys, i have a problem at CFS3:

i switched of the names over the targets and friendly. Wich button turns it on again?

  • I do not recall off hand, but look in the controls setup for a key for "Toggle Target Labels" or something like that.

  • hey man, this is a good vid, ur a skilled pilot. i have a question i hope you might be able to answer.. with the multiplayer section of the game, it tells me to make sure i am connected to the internet, is there any way i can rectify this problem??

  • Thanks. Sorry, but there isnt. This is not a result of your internet, or setup. Microsoft removed the CFS3 gamematch service a few years ago. You can however still fly in private matches over the internet. If you are interested, I can link you to a site with dozens of people that fly in CFS3 online, including myself.

  • great game!!

  • indeed.

  • u dont have to pay monthly for this game do you?

  • You buy it and that is it. It's not like World of Warcraft (EWW).

  • does the game has multiplayer missions or something, i mean

can you play it on multiplayer and get fun?

  • I'll answer that when you learn to talk.

  • No. I already stated below, what controls I use to play.

  • very very very very good!

I wanted to know wich is the best joystick for this game.

I have the game but it's alomost imposible or it is impossible try to play it wthout a joystick.

  • Yea, that is impossible. I don't have a joystick, I use what I had, and Xbox360 controller (wired). I also have a Saitek Throttle Quadrant, which covers mixture, prop and throttle control. I have seen the Logitech Wingman Attack 3 in stores for $30 and a friend of mine has the Attack 2, which works great, so the 3 should too I expect. I still wish I could do multiplayer, or find a "CFS4" lol. I got great ideas for "CFS4" if they make it....

  • thanks

    I hope they make a CFS4

    it would be cool.

    thanks again!

  • The only other way to show someone how to dogfight would be on FSX. No guns, but I do have some aircraft with sights that I could share. I was trying to run a WWII flying club, got no interest though.

  • First, lol @ your spelling. In two comments on my vids.......

Lining up the sights is easy. Shoot AHEAD of your target, so they fly INTO your bullets. IT takes work, and mainly knowledge and skills on dogfighting. Practice with attack runs from various speeds and angles on bombers. I' show yo on CFS3 online, but the server is gone and there is no voice chat either....:(

  • Dude nice vid.. gow do u line up ur sights, oi go unlimited ammo an im not vry accurate.

  • finalizing the next "Ace" video, with the tempest.

  • great vid thanks!
