The tv reality series,"COPS",only had city police dept. & county Sheriff's dept.

When this series started during the early 1990's('92),it was the first to show State uniformed agencies(and they don't just give out speeding tickets on the freeway).

I saw a few idiot cops on this show, but they were good overall. One time they had a red coupe, circa 1977 model, stopped and the cops had broken the driver's window and one was kicking in the windshield like it was a window bashing contest with caffeinated 14 year old boys. This appeared to be just dense.

I was in the 4th grade when this show came on. It used to air on WWOR-9 @ 11pm. I used to stay up late to watch this show when my mom told me not to because I had school in the morning. LOL those were the days, I miss this show.
