  • With a webcam connected to the laptop, would you be able to get the same results as the 'eyedirect' devices for interviews?

  • @TheVividHunter A webcam would be worth a shot... but typically you would use a camera that you can adjust the gain because of the dark glass you're shooting through.

  • Fantastic DIY video! Thanks for putting it out there ^^

  • but, will it blend?

  • @panda72418 Good question! Video it and let us know! :o)

  • The price assumes that user already has a nice box like that... :/

  • @cpo2u Not at all. I made the box within the $50 limit. It's just 4 pieces of wood, two dow rods and some screws and two brackets. The glass slides in the 3 sided frame.

  • I built something similar and i am having a problem with the 2 way mirror. its very tinted and messes with the video. did you have the same problem? how did you fix it?

  • @DrewAnsohn You will have to bump up your gain or make sure you have good lighting to compensate for the tint in the mirror.

  • SWEET! I'm on it!

  • @wideomarketingonline It's 2 way mirror glass. You can see through one side but the other side looks like a mirror.

  • What kind of glass you actually bought ? I'm from Poland and just could not understand despite listening several tilmes.

Anyway great piece of advice fot me and I want to create something similar for my business. Thanks again. Darek Krasnicki

  • @WideoMarketingOnline It's 2 way mirror glass. See through on one side but mirror on the other.
