@hapigal2b The Beatles played The Hollywood Bowl once in 1964 and twice in 1965. You, as you say, were at one of the 1965 shows, but this clip is unquestionably from the 1964 show. Those are their 1964 stage outfits, and they're playing "You Can't Do That" which they only played in 1964.
@hapigal2b "I was there" is correct....this is a 1964 movie. It's a gorgeous film. I was there, and it sounded EXACTLY like this footage. the entire show. They screamed, I cried. I lucked out, saw both shows! Have the tickets and full page L.A. Times Ad with ticket info, $3-5, and photos. The Beatles DID NOT have these outfits on. They wore the camel colored, mandarin color/nehru jackets. They DID NOT play "You Can't Do That" in '65. It's tattoed in my brain-second I saw the jackets: 1964
Respond to this video... Thanks for uploading this beautiful glimpse into the sea of Beatledom. Gorgeous footage. The handheld camera, girls hair flying, starched white blouses (notice no t-shirts?), the simple lighting, the boxes we sat in all crammed together. Yep, the screaming sounded exactly, exactly, exactly like this movie. It should be in an archive; Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, or Beatle Museum.
@lanzodave Hi, I've just come back from Liverpool with my boyfriend and I just have to tell you we were really impressed by the Beatles museum (and the entire city, actually!). Absolutely brilliant! Liked it so much will go back in January and will take my parents with us, because they grew up in the 60s and are huge fans of the Beatles. Kind regards from the Netherlands

I was in the Hollywood Bowl and saw the Beatles in 1964! Thanks for the memory. My two friends who were there with me and I just saw Paul McCartney at the Coachella Valley Music Festival on April 17, 2009. We were in the front row.
Yes, I remember. I was 14 yrs old and there with my two best friends! 45 years later we got together to see Paul McCartney in Coachella! What a reunion that was!
So was my mom Kathleen! My mom and her girlfriend had box sets on the first night but from what I've researched, it was the SECOND night that was filmed on the 23rd. Which night did you attend?
Note how the orchestra pit was full of water for this gig.
