Muhamed isnt necrophagist every one in the band fucking kicks ass at there iunstruments. And they use a drum machine that explains the "robotic" sounding drums. And distortion doesnt show your mistekes it covers them up. Thats why you are encourages to use LESS distotion when you practice.
Bass heaps...that Muhammad wrote ALL BY HIMSELF and then gave the tabs to his bassist for recording. And Epitaph album had a real drummer but there was still that same stupid typewriter drum sound.

if you dont think necropahgist or the facelss isnt tech then there is something wrong with you. There older stuff from akeldama wasnt even core sure it had breakdowns but not hardcore breakdowns. And planetary duality is extremely technical and progressive.

Sure Necrophagist is technical but death metal? I really wouldn't say that...their vocals are death metal without a doubt but death metal takes heavy distorted guitars which necrophagist do not have

dude ok with tech death players try not to use to much distortion because they want there shit to sound clear and crisp but they still use enough distortion to give it that edge. If "distorted guiatrs" make death metal thebn that is sad becasue there is way more to death metakl then distortion.

Well of course there's more to death metal than distortion but what I'm saying is that WITHOUT ANY DISTORTION it simply can't be death metal by any means no matter what you do. Spawn of Possession, Visceral Bleeding, Origin and even Brain Drill have the accessible amount of distortion but not necrophagist :p

yeah man they are fucking sick bands i love all them bands heaps haha. And yeah epitaph riffing wasnt as raw as onset but epitaph had mind blowing solos. Im so excitedfor necropahgist new album :D
