this is way too cute! i just bought a lovebird, but i don't now where or how to start with him =/ i want to make him social and tame but all he does is sitting on his stick. he doesn't move he doesn't sing, nothing =/ he doesn't even try to bite me, wich is anormal cuz normaly lovebirds are biting people =/ aanyways so i'm watching videos to get tips and info ^^ nice video!!

i have one and it seems you have to change their food and water for a little while then you can try to pet them but if other people try to they will bit e them becuz they think that the neww person is trying to harm you

let him go freely in your house for 2 weeks

start to touch him in the end of the first week and he or she will start to get friendly

after 1 month when u get home ill probably go to your hand by him self

just be careful in the first week to dont let him run

I have lovebirds too. They will fly to my hands but won't let me touch them. However it does feel very sweet when they are on my palm.

I wish mine will let me do that. He is just a stubborn brat he rides my shoulder he yell when Im not around but he will bite when I try to pet him chump. Im working with him only had him for 3mo not hand raise I know its going to take time.
