I lived in Cedar Rapids,Iowa when the Quaker Oats ceral plant was captured in the video offered here at this page of the obviously never been scene "Asperatus" cloud formation. On the contrary of what individuals had posted. Toxication/pollution seems to be the focal point. I can see why you'd be lead to believe that. It's not in my opinion. I went to college to study conservation and had paid attention. These clouds are heavy snow like clouds developing and recorded by cave men on walls.

These are just wave clouds, as described in meteorlogy books for nearly 200 years.

The wind produces waves just the same as the sea, just search ''wave clouds'' in Google images and stop worrying about nothing.

I would love to see these clouds in motion. Natural or man made they are beautiful yet scary. I would love to see if I can find more info or research on these if they are not photoshopped that is. I wouldn't give it a haarp title yet and i'm still a skeptic on haarp still but acknowledge it is real. I still think this can be explained away with being natural tho, maybe even something to do with upper atmospheric phenomenon even? Pls give opinions from scientific to meteorology I do study this.

New clouds dont just pop along after a few years . These monster clouds are ugly they aren`t real they are MAN MADE they fill our UK skies daily they are geoengineering . Yes, this is natural. This is not a "NEW" cloud, but very rare. Years ago people didn't have cameras as they do today, that's why pictures from clouds like this are just starting to appear now.

Asperatus is not correlated to weather changes. It has always been there. But only now are paying attention to it.

Sorry people, but these clouds are not new, it's just the classification that is new. Seems like the media needs some people who don't hype it up instead of a bunch of sensationalists. It's just a type of mammatus cloud. Some of these photos have so much contrast in them to help show the definition of these clouds. I see these clouds every year. I even saw them in Scotland back in 1986. Just more people seeing them because of the interest in weather photography. I see mammatus a lot too.
