Cont...They have free information on how to talk about everything from sexual orientation, to safe sex, to contraception (including reversible long-term birth control), to STD's, to delaying becoming sexually active, and even just talking about puberty. I think people like Bachmann fail to see PPH for what it is, education and help to make the best decisions in a very important part of life. I would like to add that Planned Parenthood follows strict guidelines about teens under 18 having a parent's signature (or two) and/or parental notification guidelines as the law applies to each state to have an abortion. They also are very willing to help with the discussion between a parent and their child about sex and sexual health...cont...

Like a medical professional? It can also lead to drug abuse and, unfortunately, more unplanned pregnancies. I feel the need to add that Planned Parenthood is doing a lot to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and all other STD's in women AND men. This may not sound so great to some more conservative parents, but teens can come to Planned Parenthood in complete confidentiality and get all of these services(with exceptions in some states for abortions, I will explain further), including free contraception....cont...

Not only do they do their best to inform you about ALL options, especially adoption, but they give women who are having an unplanned pregnancy information about what resources there are in the community to help them if they KEEP the baby. That alone can give women who are having an unplanned pregnancy hope when they were thinking that there was no way they could handle a baby in their life. I could go on and on, but I won't be petty here. My point here is that she has repeatedly just whitewashed history to get her point across. That my friends is very scary. I don't know if she's just a bad listener or what but she has proven that she doesn't regard fact as being worthwhile.

Whether she supports liberals, conservatives, or libertarians, is irrelevant. She represents Americans in a respected position and she's truly an embarrassment to U.S. citizens.

The basis of Bachmann's argument makes sense and is actually a good one. Unfortunately, she has no concept for the truth in any regard.

She booked time on the floor of congress and failed to know the name of the act that was the basis of her argument(Smoot-Hawley Act). She blamed the Democrats and Teddy Roosevelt for the act, when Hoover, who was the president who signed it, along with Reed Smoot and Willis Hawley were all Republicans. She also believes that our founding fathers ended slavery!

Ok, so Congresswoman Bachmann got it wrong. But yes, Planned Parenthood does provide abortions. Democrats lie on the House and Senate floors all the time, but how often does CNN care to exploit that? Cooper says he's being unpartisan, but it's clearly an example of CNN's liberal bias. I like Michele Bachmann, and I think that she would be a good, competant president, but if she even mentions running, CNN and MSNBC are going to make her the next Sarah Palin.

Planned Parenthood in EVERY case tries to STOP the woman from having a abortion. The offer alternatives and support, abortion is the very last option. Michele Bachmann doesn't stand a chance, if it's between Huckfin and Trump "the chump" Obama, or hopefully a real progressive candidate, will win hands down.
