Nope. There is a camel spider that is native to Colorado. It's smaller than the one found in the middle east. Look it up.

no it's a camel spider. they're not poisonus but have a wicked nasty strong bite thatgets infected easily.

yeah we have those here in Arizona. The largest I've seen was about three inches long. very fast though.
I heard they are sensitive to light, that's why they always seem to go after people, but they are just looking for a shade.
