Attesa actually allows for slides to happen, you just have to work harder on provoking the slide, and it's not as spectacular as a RWD drifting. And YEAH, I am a petrolhead, If I wasn't i'd not watch WM, and if I wasn't I'd pass AE86 beating R32 GTR. Problem is, after half a season of complicated decisions by people who feel the need to race, you get well, appaling characters, cars with no history, and they top it off with giving unrealistic explanation to S30Z speed, and Tatsuya becoming
If I'd like to learn different up and down sides of cars - I'd rather trust into facts, not into a cartoon.and If I'd like to watch a cartoon about it - I'd rather see them get it straight. (To prove my point - in WM, the R33 GTR has 800 bhp, that kind of power is achieved by going to a single big turbo swap, since you need a lot of boost, and there's no place for 2 turbos of proper size under the hood... not in the cartoon, where kitami says it's twinturbo. proved a point Im a petrolhead?
Only properly watchable anime about cars - Wangan Midnight, due to EPIC music at some points (and still some crap comes out from time to time), and due to it not being centered around racing but more about people who race. Problem with ID anime (which I wouldn't watch if you'd pay me) is the music and the fact that a hachi beats everything else, and when it can't there's a "deus ex machina" factor which comes into play. Problem with WM is that it does become "just racing" in the end.
I just got this movie yesterday, having no clue what to expect, only because I haven't read the manga series. But have heard of them. And I ended up loving the movie! I thought it was really good. I love movies with alot of action. And I think I like live action better than cartoons/anime. This movie was great!
Whatever man i love initial d, (i own a couple of the mangas and almost all the anime) but i love drifting enough that i bought the movie and thoroughly enjoyed it, the changes to the movie were a bit of a let down, but seeing the initial d cars in real life was KICKASS especially Ry's FC3S
