I have to disagree slightly as the buildings they investigate are often from very different eras.
But I'm not talking about the style of building, I'm talking about who lived there, what the building was used for, that kind of thing.
Also, they did visit the Netherlands and the U.S.A. whilst Derek was on the show and Derek was able to pick up accurate information in both countries.
We could take the view Derek is fake, but we don't understand the spiritual side of life.
I remain open minded about Derek because of the accurate information he's given in previous MH investigations including full names and dates, even getting info which isn't in history books, but verified by people's own knowledge.
To achieve this as a fake, he'd have to be given information about locations before hand or have an incredible amount of knowledge of buildings and history.
These buildings that they are investigating all share a similar architectural 'blueprint' so to speak. Most of the buildings of those days were designed by the same group of architectures, and therefore, if anyone were to study only a few buildings or historical sites then they would know the general architecture and style of the rest of the buildings in Britain and even other commonwealth countries such as Canada.; they all had the same architects. That's why they stayed within the UK.

Derek got a lot of hits because he was fed a lot of information by an insider and by other forms of information before the show. I don't know what's his name. He was I think the first historian? Anyway, Cairen was suspicious so he made up a name and asked a staff to leak it out to Derek and Derek was caught. No medium know it all. It would be fake. I have never seen one that knows everything.

I have to disagree slightly as the buildings they investigate are often from very different eras.
But I'm not talking about the style of building, I'm talking about who lived there, what the building was used for, that kind of thing.
Also, they did visit the Netherlands and the U.S.A. whilst Derek was on the show and Derek was able to pick up accurate information in both countries.

We could take the view Derek is fake, but we don't understand the spiritual side of life.
I remain open minded about Derek because of the accurate information he's given in previous MH investigations including full names and dates, even getting info which isn't in history books, but verified by people's own knowledge.
To achieve this as a fake, he'd have to be given information about locations before hand or have an incredible amount of knowledge of buildings and history.
Or, he's genuine.

These buildings that they are investigating all share a similar architectural 'blueprint' so to speak. Most of the buildings of those days were designed by the same group of architectures, and therefore, if anyone were to study only a few buildings or historical sites then they would know the general architecture and style of the rest of the buildings in Britain and even other commonwealth countries such as Canada.; they all had the same architects. That's why they stayed within the UK.

I think the majority of ghost shows are made up. How else would these fake hams make money?? It is hard to tell but if you are a little experienced in ghost hunting, then you kinda know the protocols etc. Quite entertaining to watch sometimes. I can see why so many people out there are skeptics, too many fakes out there claiming to be real. And the question is, "how can you tell what's real????"
