@vladikman1 u dont have to follow lessons to be able to draw, u can also learn it at home by just drawing ur hand at school for example, watch this kind of stuff on youtube and ofc by watching people... like how they're eyes looks like and try to draw it at home.. and most important have fun ^^ and u will succed into it :P

Hi,, nice instructions... just one tough question. if you are allowed to use only 1 pencil, and paper, which pencil you use? ( 2b, 4b, 8b,,? HB? ) ,, and which paper you use , very smooth one ( Bristol smooth ) or the slightly rough one ( i.e. drawing paper)...!

dude! awesome drawing.. what i do about the shadings in the face is plane charcoal brush.. but when i saw this video.. i can use the pemcil to create shadings..

so i tried it.. but upon me trying it only looked like garbage.. so i did everything agan..

i ust can't seem to get the pencil shading in the face..

@ACuriousSoldier I used a set of drawing pencils(HB, 2B, 4B, 6B etc.)...It takes a while to learn the brush....combine it with a paper stump

@ACuriousSoldier another piece of advice,maybe too late but anyway, if you shade with a harder pencil over a softer one, it acts more like a blending tool than darkening, it won't really change the tone but it will fill the white spots in betwen the strokes, and of course practice is the mother of all things :P

Nice one merrill, but aren't you gonna shade in the earrings a little bit? give them a metal value? Also, I've been looking into a white pencil, to make highlights in the hair and lips and such. Have you ever used anything to that degree?

@Lukis687 I think I agree with you on the earrings....My ADHD whisked me away before I could finish that! Think that I will definitely do that!.....As for the white pencil. I have never seen that in graphite. I have used them quite a bit with charcoal and they are very handy. I especially like using them in combination with a regular charcoal pencil on neutral paper.
