I Hate this part of the game for two simple reasons. Klobber Karnage and Animal Antics. I keep Dying and Dying Everytime on Emulator I Have passed this using too many Save States. but on Virtual Console. I left it for the sake of my sanity.

It takes extreme paitence though I have to admit the final level in this world is very hard it feels more like an endurance level.

Imo listening to your own music should calm you down throughout these stages.

As soon as I heard the Lost World overworld theme for the very first time as a kid, I instantly knew that these last few levels were going to be rediculously hard. Man, was I right! I got my rear handed to me on a silver platter countless times, but it was fun, nevertheless. Even the hardest games today are a cakewalk compared to old school games like the DKC series.

Krematoa had some insane stages to progress through...Jungle Jinx, Black Ice Battle, Klobber Karnage, Firey Furnace, and of course Animal Antics.

Even the best of players had some difficulty making it through these stages, but with time, they made it through.

@CloudandFFlover Did the lithium coin battery die inside your cartridge and the saving features don't work anymore? This is probably the reason your file got erased. There is a way to open the cartridge with a tool and replace the battery inside with a new one so you can save your game again.

They try to appeal to the audiences by making the games easier. But it's because these old games were so hair-rippingly challenging, that they were so good. If the games were easy, I don't think half of us would have the memories we do now. If we don't have to repeat a stage 10 times to beat it, it won't have a lasting effect on us; thus, new memories are bland and few.

And what's worse is; gamers nowadays LIKE easy games, and dismiss challenges. We've been desensitized. -.-

@darken27 The controls are also slightly different in the GBA and SNES versions too. The jungle one where you have to jump into a rotating barrel and avoid a barrage of Zingers was an absolute pain in the ass! The rotating barrels where also very hard to control. In the GBA version, they made the rotating barrels easier to control making that part less frustrating but the level is still the same.

Lol isnt this game amazing?? I used to be scared of Forest Interlude (Youll see y) and the world included. Cause like the FIRST time I played that world, To be specific Web Woods, I was like u no playing through the level until it rained and the electricity was gone and it made like a beep sound like beeep beeep and the game turned off and I hated that sound so I feared to play alone on that stage lol. I noticed that the Game Boy Adavnce version of the Lost World has a slightly easier difficulty than the Super Nintendo version of the Lost World. Klobber Karnage is much easier on the GBA version because the floating barrels are easier to control. Yeah Animal Antics was a pain but I was able to beat the level eventually on the SNES version.
