2 cm wide stripes?? I understand how it's done but I don't have measurements. I see in mohney89 post the 2 cm and that's all I understand in the post but what is 2 cm? Also..when you sew the back strip after you turn the edges down, it will show on the top of the quilt as topstitched. Do you also topstitch the other side on the top of the strip to match??

Although I didn't understand what was being said, I think I understood some of it. It looks like the back of the blocks and the stripes to connect the blocks are made from a 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch wide jelly rolls. My guess is a 1 1/2 inch since the seams are 1/4 inch (both sides equal 1/2 inch total0 leaving 1 inch between the blocks when it's finished. I noticed the backings are lengthwise and some crosswise. It had to be planned that way or the front would not work out. flowers would be sidewa

wirklich schade, dass du so unsauber arbeitest... Beim Annähen der Streifen, nähst du Falten mit ein. Schlimm finde ich auch, dass du beim umschlagen und annähen auf der Rückseite nichtmal steckst! so wird der Streifen verzogen und steht gut 2 cm über... wenn du schon Anleitungsvideos machen musst, dann machs zumindest richtig...so gucken sich andere nur deine miese Technik ab und werden frustriert, weil ihre Arbeiten so unsauber werden... du solltest etwas mehr Anspruch an deine Arbeit haben...
