Nice cover of their song, and good movie, but I like the original the best. Hey Jude is by far my favorite song by the Beatles. Again, good cover from Across the Universe, but the original's intense emotions hit me harder because John Lennon wrote this song for his son before he died.

Paul already had the entire song written when he played it for John. Lennon's only contribution to the song was to advise McCartney to keep the line "The movement you need is on your shoulder" in, because McCartney originally intended to rewrite that line.

what i meant by dull is that it's always the same thing after the first time. Most movies I'm able to view in a different way every time I see it, this one, it was the same, it never changed. The music is good, and the coloring in the movie is lovely, and the storyline is nice as well, I just see it as the same over and over.

i love this movie and the fact that they put such a great story to the genius music made by the Beatles. they were amazing guys, and i just love this song so much. Across the Universe is a great film, too. it's perfect in so many ways. the ending is one of the best things i've ever seen.
