  • omgg i had this annoying malware that turned my screen blue and kept scanning my pc! just 2 minutes ago! the quickest way to get rid of it is to start up safemode and download malwarebytes (it wont let you download it in normal mode). anyways, it took like 10 minutes and now its GONE! YAY :D

  • @EZBreezy187 I am glad that worked for you, and your machine got cleaned out of that annoying malware. Malwarebytes is definitely awesome.

  • yo bart, could you help me out? i think i may have a virus and it looks like you know your shit. can you head over to my channel when you get a chance??? i uploaded a short clip showing what happened when i turned it on, and a brief description, well, in the description. thanks in advance.

    Daniel

  • lolwhut

  • Sandboxie, Firefox w/ NoScript, Returnil and clean backups are all you need.

  • what kind of a stupid ISP is that? Terminating a service due to infections? Are all ISP in the US operate as such scumbags?

  • Yeah, they did it. Some of them actually monitor your usage, and you cannot go over it , or they charge you more, or they shut you down temporarily. There nasty in the usa. Comcast and Direct tv Internet TV are worse I hear.

  • lol get get norton 2010 it give you a rewview of each site before you got to it tells if its safe or not

  • Thanks for the comment and suggestion!

  • i have kaspersky internet protection 09

and it just saved my fuckin ass from a fatal attack moments ago!

  • now how do i fix it if i cnt open ANYTHING important. not the add and remove, i cnt even enter into my TASK MANAGER which it seems is the one place i might have been able to get those damn programs. now i cnt even get at them. i can run the most BASIC of programs IF im lucky. my computer is COMPLETELY overrun with these programs which fuck with your computer until you buy em. and i dnt wanna buy em and waste 40-100 dollars. depending on it. and with so many im looking at ATLEAST 150$ if notTWICE

  • what else I can do. :)

  • @BigBadBart25

    Get malwarebytes

    it completely scans every virus

It will kill all malwares on sight

  • @cyberzone10 Yup have it installed on all our machines, works awesome! Thanks for the tip though!

  • ok lets see where do i begin my tale of woe. XO well lets see. it all started on a sunny afternoon of surfing the net as usual. and i find this program has somehow snuck on to my computer. while on my computer it infiltrated a buncha areas on my computer. ok so i go around and i THINK i found em all. well later on i get ANOTHER program both trying to get me to buy them to FIX my computer. well with their combined problems it totally crippled my computer. and after so many days i have no memorynw

  • I have malware bytes scanning right now . I also have Avira antivirus. The problem is that I cannot update either of them. Wondering if you can help me out with this.

  • My Ad-Aware today found malware on a full scan and deleted it! It told me to restart so I did. When I left, my sister said that a blue screen popped up for 2 seconds saying "Processing..." then "Deleting C://Windows...." My sister couldn't read the rest. Is the cpu at risk???

  • If it deleted a directory in Windows, depending on what it was, it may be at risk. But, if it just deleted the infected trojan file or piece of malware, and everything appears to be running correctly, then you are most likely ok. Just keep an eye on things, run a few more scans more frequently to make sure, then resume more of a normal schedule.

    Reply:

Just one day after.... My NEW pc on the same network got the same message: Processing... Deleting C://Windows..... and again, she couldn't read the rest. Is my sister lying or am I nuts? Probably both.

  • Scary. You need to be there the next time the screen says that. Take your digital camera or vid camera (if you have one) record the monitor, so if it says it only for a few seconds, then you can pause your video on playback and see what it says. Hope this helps!

  • Yea, this happened on my other pc too after i started it up and another person on youtube told me that maybe both pc's screwed up something or my sister is lying.

  • Guess you will have to be there live and in person to find out which is the true case

  • man i would shake ur hand

  • browser-hijacker that's an old malware trick.Back door trojans are the next logical step in cash scams. I can recall alot of fake java anti-virus software on the net. spybot S&D is a good scaning program but you have to update it every week. AVG sucks it will remove 25% of malware you can get off the net. it's a good bet any thing that scans for viruses off a webpage is infact spyware/grayware and/or malware.

P.S. I love ubuntu linux for the internet.

  • Thanks for your review! I appreciate it!. The more you guys share and review and update, the better it is for everyone! BTW never heard of UBUNTU, care to tell us what that is and what it does?

  • ubuntu is a virtual machine that was released a while back really cool i have it and great video 5/5

  • Thanks. Any info against the ingrates who construe these programs, etc.. is always useful. P.S. : Stay away from "My Web Search" and its toolbar. Its F@cked. ("Avast" or "One live care" can suspend viral problems for awhile for free but then it all turns too sh!t again unless you pay the piper before the trial runs out. Bastards.}

  • Thanks for your comment and sharing your views!

  • hey this is true thanxs bart this was very informative dawg......thanks for the info i removing my malware as we speak.!

  • No problem. Glad I could help you!

  • My system isnt infected, but the dumb mel ware bell notice keeps coming up when i open control panel, or go on internet explorer, offering me anti spyware. I really want to get rid of it. what should i do? pm me back please...

  • wish i saw this yesterday. I just received the virus and it infected my computer. We called my dad's friend and told me how to delete it. I got rid of it, but it worried me for a while. I'm happy that people are handing out awareness about unknown viruses.

  • Glad to see you found my video informative! Also glad you were able to get rid of the virus on your computer. If ya need anything let me know, be happy to try and help.

  • Actually, I do have a question, I have spybot- search and destroy, and it destroyed the problems and I removed it from my accessories. I know it can't be that easy, there must be something there but there have been no more problems. I tried to find AVG Free, but it says my account has expired. If it is free, how does it expire?

  • omg thankz man u just saved my computar!@!!!!!

  • Your welcome :)

  • hi would you also recommend spyhunter 3?

    thanks

  • I have not tried that one yet. It wont hurt anything to try it. Also maybe a few other commenters on here may have a say. Thanks for watching and thanks for asking a question!

  • no worries. quick note - when i downloaded spyhunter 3 it detected loads of stuff but asked me to register and buy the product to actually remove the threats now as my computer is infected i dont want to writing bank details on there even if it is a secure website so i got AVG and it is awesome it has sorted out my laptop perfectly

  • Awesome to hear. Yes AVG 8.0 Internet Securities is awesome, and finds most things. But me being the paranoid one still run spyware hunter, and spyware blaster in the background around with it just to be safe :)

  • What's a virus? I have had a Linux box on broadband connected to the internet for about 6 years. I have no anti-virus software and I have never had a virus. Neither do I have any spyware.

  • That's because Linux is not a fav target since it is not used by the majority of the public, and making a virus would only affect a smaller amount of people and not make as big an impact if it would affect a IBM or Apple system :)

  • Maybe, maybe not. The fact is I have had virus free computing for years and don't seem likely to get infected for some while yet. The security on my system means even if I did get one the damage it could do would be very limited which is probably not a big incentive to write viruses. I'm just grateful to you windows users for acting like fly paper to keep the rubbish off my system :-)

  • 'Malware' is the collective term for ALL malicious coding. Your definition of malware was incorrect.

  • So, even if you have the latest NortonAnti-virus plus Webroot installed you need another software? There's a malware software which I don't know if it was installed with the Anti-virus when I got my computer that has 130 infected files(trojanAndAdware).

  • Yes, Malware is what got me in trouble. I use anti-spyware, and spyware terminator. Avast is good, but its memory hog.

  • hello

bigbadbart25 i have a problem.. i have a trojan called malware and i have spyware and adware on my computer and i am worried because i am unable to get rid of it and i tried using ad-aware and spybot and it didnt delete. what do u suggest i should do. nice video i like it

  • I would try Spyware Terminator, and SuperAntispyware. They work very well, and not to much of a memory hog. I use them along with AVG Professional Internet Securities sweet. That would be my suggesstion, Sorry for the lateness in my reply :)

  • does it onyl email people on microsoft mail or on netscape etc.

  • I am not sure what it was using for its source of email addresses, I think it had its own database it was pulling from on the web, since i dont use outlook or netscape mail.

  • That's actually a Phishing Scam

  • "<b>spybot search & destroy is the best for removing malware and its free. And please dont buy a Mac for your mental health.

  • thanks for checking it out, better versions in time will come

  • Try ZoneAlarm. Works very good!

  • Thanks for the tips and comments genesisx09 and alesana71!!

  • Im sorry but i oppose trend micro completely, it is probably one of the worst programs i have ever had on my computer. It has missed TWO huge viruses on my computer before, Errorsafe and spysheriff! My spyware removal tool, Spysweeper, picked these trojans up better then Trend did.

  • ...OMFG, I WAS INFECTED BY A MALWARE, thanks for these tips man

  • Good Suggestion! Thank you krispycrunk!

Oh and I wont be buying a mac :)

  • if your runnig xp click start run msconfig run a diagnostic start up then

restart comp then start ad-adware. so nothing is running it makes it more easy for it to be found because the spyware isn't active in most cases!!!

  • Buy a Mac! =]

  • Wow thanks for the list. they are definitly all good programs. :) we as a community got to keep our systems up on here

  • wow, use Avast!

  • Hey "BigBadBart", I know ALOT about Spyware, Malware, Viruses, etc. to. Here is the list of programs I use to keep my computer running at 110%.

System Cleaners: - CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) - TweakNow RegCleaner Pro - TuneUp Utilities 2007 - ATF-Cleaner - Advanced WindowsCare V2 Professional

    Anti-Spyware: - Ad-aware SE 1.06r1 Professional - Spybot Search & Destroy

    Anti-Virus: - avast! Professional

  • They do the same thing, but they look for different items depending on whats in the database for each program. Also spybot has a tea timer, which will allow u to select what gets installed into the registry and what u dont want. very handy tool. :)

  • hi, bart i have a question. i have ad-ware se. is spy bot the same and should i get spy bot.

  • lol , just get off the computer , prob solved hope i helped =D

  • HA for my safety I aint giving that info out.

  • please reply....who is your internet provider?

  • Thanks for the information! I and I am sure the other watchers appreciate your input!

  • I run a computer service business and we have to fix Windows computers running Internet Explorer with Norton, McAfee, AVG, Panda, etc. all the time. We call that combination "job security".

Best bet is to NOT RUN Windows, Internet Explorer or any of the above, but if you HAVE to run Windows, the Opera browser has had 5 times less vulnerabilities in the same time period as Internet Explorer, and Kaspersky anti-virus WORKS.

  • Duely Noted But I disagree, as I assure you many others do to on your statement.

  • mate mate mate, AVG is just a heap of free junk anti-virus, wen i got malware, it just slaughtered windows defender, AVG, ad-adware, S&D all them , just kill it all, so i use the zonealarm (suite)

  • Me too!I had to reformat Windows to its factory condition.3 times.

  • Wow that definitely sucks. I am sorry to hear that you had to reformat it. Its such a pain, you loose all your personal settings, gotta reload your bookmarks, etc. Unless you keep a good backup :)

  • I had AdAware PRO upgraded,SpyBot upgraded and Avast PRO upgraded and none of them could get rid of an infection! Eventually I had to format and reinstall Windows ! Fuck

  • Nice video BigBadBart25!

Fu**ing spywares and sh*t.. We need to fight it.

  • ya. or maybe ur avg just wasnt updated and didnt detect it

  • that is very possible rick8194. You know, we are so busy in life anymore, who has time to check for this stuff. we hop on do what we gotta do, and take off again. But I am definitly keeping an eye on things more now.

  • hes good

  • hm. maybe u were idle and avg detected it while u were idle and its only option when u didnt respond to it was to heal it. maybe the file couldnt have been healed and u had to move it to the vault then delete it from there, but u didnt do it cuz u didnt know about it

  • It did on its own from somewhere. not sure when or how.

  • did u download a program or somethin

  • I had AVG Anti-virus, But Only spybot search and destroy for the anti-spyware detection. Now I have zonealarm, and it works well for the malware and spyware detection.

  • bart, wat antivirus did u have when u got that trojan

  • Not that I am aware of

  • ps can I get a Bug with the youtube web ?

  • Thanks BBB !!

  • hooorah!! thx Mr.

  • With Ewido it is supposed to monitor your web page surfing, i have heard that the zonealarm suite works very well also if you get it with the spyware=malware features. NoAdware is good, as always it is good to have a few different programs, cause some will scan for things others wont. Mac's are more bug free, but not free from them.

  • I have Ewido and it signal a bug , but it could not erase the bug.

    formated the PC .

Could I get a Bug again with the youtube Page ?

I have norton , Noadware and ewido, but I still get bugs ??

What about Mac are those guys virus free ???

    Thanks

  • We're Ewido Anti Malware >.<

  • The firewall Zonealarm checks BOTH outgoing mail as well as incoming stuff, it would help. The best FREE spyware programs are Ad-Aware, Spybot Search & Destroy, Spyware Blaster, & Windows Defender. One way to help stop spyware from getting on your PC in the first place is to not use Internet Explorer. Try alternate browsers such as Opera or Firefox. You can go to secunia.com to compare the amount of holes each browser has; you will always see IE with the most problems.

  • All I have heard on volvo's that they are considered very safe, and dependable. But 2k seems a bit much for a 1990, I would do my homework and see what its really worth on kelly blue book.

  • Thanks Bart, also do you know anyting about Volvos? I have my eye on a 1990 740 Wagon, with 84K miles. They are asking $2K, but I need to sell the Van first. Thanks. Freakin HOT here, maybe we can get time to do some vids this weekend.

  • Thanks for commenting! Yes I run the malware scan's at least once a week now with the puters I use the most. SO far so good :)

  • i have tried all the programs you talked about before and they are all very good and my computer works perfect. good information. :-)

  • Thanks for the tip Bart!
