  • Does anyone absolutely love this theme? Especially when combined with the gel sounds.

It's my favorite regular theme, right after Want You Gone, Four Part Plan, and Cara Mio Addio.

  • 1 person got the blue paint...

  • 1 person wanted to stick to safe science...

  • @DoomTank87 but ended up having to fight a horde of mantis-men

  • (Me) "screw looking for a wall that works with portals, IT'S TIME FOR NOCLIP"

I also agree, that the old place is creeeeepy.

  • @TheMike16112 Please stop sucking at Portal 2.

  • @DrCaffeine5000 Yeah I felt like !@#$ when I finished the chapter so I replayed it and did it the right way

  • @TheMike16112 So, I see you decided to go with safe science. Why not MARRY safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a safety door, that won't hit you on the way out because you're FIRED.

  • Old Aperture is the only creepy place to me, it looks soooo old and broken! But, incase you havn't noticed, Old Aperture can be creepy but its the first gel testing tracks!

  • I find the old aperture creeeeeeepyyyyy

  • @toffeebomb aperture science (not only the old aperture) is so creepy.

  • The one person is older than Aperture Science.

  • I realize why I'm in love with this recurring theme in Portal 2! It's like a remix of the Rivendell theme from Lord of the Rings!

  • I really liked the actual tests of Old Aperture, but when you weren't testing, you were wandering around, hunting for that one God-forsaken portal-able patch of wall, and it was a bit irritating.

  • Isn't there same soundtrack but there were also added those soundtracks that plays when you jump on blue gel?

  • Does anyone know the song that is played while Wheatley is talking about how powerful he is? When he first takes GLaDOS's place?

  • @Jrto66 I think it might be called " I'm not a moron" if it's not comeback to me :)

  • Hearing this music, it feels like 'So This is Aperature!"

  • wish aperture is real :') maby ill get to make one in a few years and change my name to cave johnson

  • @Dinobot2468

When you do this ,i BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN!!

    WITH THE LEMONS!!!

  • @optionen100 MABY IL MAKE COMBUSTIBLE LEMONS INTO REAL LEMONS :<

  • @Dinobot2468 A man named Cave Johnson does exist and he has plans to make a science facility in a salt mine in 10 years or so. He will not be naming it Aperture, though. Copyrights and all.

  • ahh the gels

  • aperture comes from the latin word apertus meaning open

  • Beard Dirt

  • I love how 100% of the music in that section of the game is just variations on the same tune, getting progressively more awesome as you advance.

  • *sigh* i miss Aperture Science Innovators

  • what does OST actualy stand for? i have heard it everywhere and dont know what exactly it means, is it like a remix or something

  • @brainlesnerd42 official sound track, dude. =3

  • kthanx

  • @brainlesnerd42 ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK -.-

  • chwawawawah.....chwawahwahwoh (gel sounds)

  • Som of the brilliance of the game is when you made the music even better

  • back in my day we had to carry a giant backpack to make portals in the walls! you kids/androids have it so easy these days

  • @Biodeamon LOL!

  • @Biodeamon Thats actually how the first portal gun, then called the Aperture Science quantum tunnling device.

  • @TheCakeIsALieGLaDOS7 THE CAKE IS a complete lie. I was about to say it wasn't, but now that I think about it, it is a lie.

  • @legoguy813 It is. There is only one reference to it in Portal 2, and it WAS going to be a turkey leg on a string.

  • @legoguy813 We no longer care about the cake! The cake is old, and possibly rotten over the time Chell was in suspension.

  • oh man I miss the gel sounds already <3

  • its sounds so different without those noises that jumping on the repulsion gel made

  • @Hedphelym Yeah, Portal 2 is a very unique game in regards to the music. About half of the time all you hear in the background is the base of the song while your puzzling keeps adding musical inserts over it. Pretty awesome. But also pretty difficult in an attempt to recreate the songs in mp3 format.

  • @wastrel628 I absolutely love games that focus the music around the gameplay. For example, in Ocarina of Time, all the background music was recorded in 15 second segments, and depending on what you did, an algorithm would change the order of those segments. Amazing :D

  • @Hedphelym i know right?

  • This is the music for the old Aperture Science test chambers.
