I used to have Mario Paint when I was little, and honestly, I thought none of the 'thingies' could hold notes for long.

Back when I was 9, I was like "Screw this, this sucks" and traded it with a friend for another game. First time I saw an MPC video, I was like "This isn't the same thing I had.... that thing was horrible". But since then, I've come to terms with the idea that I was just horrible at using the thing.

The main portion took me about 2-3 hours--

The portion added at the end took me about twice as long, even though it's only 1/3rd of the entire song. =P

When I finished the song, I realized how short it was before it looped, so I wanted to add something. I didn't want what I added to sound out-of-place, though, so I took extra care to fit it in without seeming contrived. I'm glad people enjoy it. =]

I don't want to sound negative, since you did a good job with this song, but I need to reiterate that the part you "added" is a normal part of the non-battle version of this song. It even transitions in the exact same way.

There may have been several reasons for the composers deciding not to put it into the battle theme in particular, but I decided to add it in to see if it would still sound fine (as a battle theme). One of the things I was concerned about is that it shifts to the relative major key, which I was afraid would interrupt the "battle feel" a little too much; whether that turned out fine is up to you. =P
