Rude was huge here. He always was big but I think this is the biggest i seen him. It was cover. I think it actually was a good botch. It made the match more believeable the way it was done.
I miss Rude, as I do the glory days of wrestling, when the characters where fun, and it was worth watching. Rude was one of my favorites for sure. He had so much personality, and knew how to play it to the hilt.
@MrJohnnyrace He suffered a ....... "MASSIVE HEART ATTACK AT HIS HOME". How else would someone his age, and Eddie Guerrero's age suffer a "MASSIVE HEART ATTACK". Not to mention steroids WERE found in his system. It was no secret.
I have no doubt that Rude worked his ass off, but I also find it interesting that Bill Watts has said more than once that Rude "would have weighed about 185 without steroids" Rudes very small bone structure helped make his physique more impressive in some ways as any bodybuilder can tell you but it also supports Watts' claim.
S.D. Jones was my favorite jobber. Back when we were kids we referred to jobbers as "beat-up" boys.

Sometimes that happens. You can't always be perfect and execute every move well. Perfectly understandable.

It was SD Jones who botched it. He bent his head down to the side.

you are right
stndrds79 2 years ago
I think the problem was more with SD Jones than Rude. He didn't duck down very far at all.
Could be miscommunication, as it looked like SD Jones was going for one move and Rude for another.
