I think if you listened and enjoyed the original version you appreciate this remix a lot more.Not saying that anyone can't appreciate it but for a rapper to pick this song and remix it is very creative.That means he listens to Zero 7 and I bet most rappers or most people in general unfortunately do not listen to Zero 7.But bottom line this is a great song,love the original as well.

Most producers who make beats for hip hop artist listen to ALL kinds of music. If you listen to a lot of hip hop tracks you'll notice they sample a lot of different types of sounds from different artist.

@Kognitive DOOM listens and samples all ganres as well, hence the Metal Fingers being so keen. And the Metal Face is a completely different story. And don't get me started on King Geedorah or Vick Vaughn. Or way back when, check out KMD ;)

I agree with you. I think combining genres is 1 way new sounds will be created; it'll hopefully be more prevalent in music's future. Combined genres attract more than 1 audience, perhaps making it more popular, as well as opening up mind to different styles.
