Excellent documentation of lesbian, gay and transgendered people economically marginalized by barriers of race and/or affecting gender non-conforming appearance. Such individuals have not only been under-represented by national gay organizations in gains made by gay and lesbian people, but are often denied access to social services designed to be a safety net for people unable to find employment, affordable housing and medical insurance.
