  • Please listen too this! This sound in a wind band I like - you don´t miss the strings!

The Swedish national wind band plays "Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral" The Swedish national wind band plays "Mälardrottningen"

The Swedish national wind band plays "Admiral Stosch"

    Conductor: Nils-Gunnar Burlin

  • The Salvation Army is a religious denomination...all churches are charities.

  • A fine band which for the past few years has been playing an arrangement of Onward Christian Soldiers that is far inferior to the arrangement previously played at this event. What a waste of talent. I would always wait to hear them. As of last year I had enough and no linger bother. This video confirms that they are sticking with this poor arrangement and that I didn't miss a thing. Bring back the previous arrangement asap.

  • @Simonquinlankify S I C K ¡¡¡¡¡

  • the best i have seen so far!

  • good for old people

  • Real music.

  • they shouldn't be aiming their horns down (trumpets and trombones) but i wish i saw the parade.

  • you're not allowed to talk...they're cornets

  • What battle group are they may I ask? Are they Scots by chance but I don't see bagpipes, my favorite!

  • its the salvation army, a charity

  • @G3or631 a charity AND a church

  • The one thing I don't miss about this parade: the parade uniforms. Definitely not made for rain.

  • OOOOOOOOOHH THAT MAKES ME HORNY!!!

  • lol

  • well I guess they aren't shooting one another while performing this lame ass crap. So it's all good right!

  • One of my favorite marching band

  • Onward christian Soldiers!! ..gotta love a great played brass!

  • must be hell for the tubas

  • Yeah a sousaphone would be so much easier,HANDS DOWN.

  • Considering that I marched this parade back in 2006 (with my tuba), I actually prefer the tuba to the sousaphone. The leather back strap is much more comfortable than any sousa.

  • This is an awesome band. I talked to some of you guys at pre-parade on the FreeWay exit. Awesome personalities.

  • Some of the participants were from the UK - we don't use the marching band instruments over here - we use the concert ones.

    Go Cardiff Canton!

  • why do they have concert instruments

  • Since the Salvation Army was founded in the UK, they're a proper brass band.

Meaning they are no 'weird' instruments like the sousaphone and the contrabass bugle.

  • Yup - they play with beautyful instruments.

  • Beautiful music, correct???
