Gale gets all this hate, i mean he loved a girl that was publicly be paraded around for death as a lover to another boy. Then he always has to be strong for his family,her family and Katniss.

Then he has to deal with the ending of mockjacy ..i mean that had to have hurt him so bad to realize he just destroyed everything he's been fighting to protect for years and any hopes of love

it's pretty clear that katniss was going to end up with peeta at the start. i mean, gale was going to say, obviously, "i love you" before the peacekeepers shoved him out of the room where he last talks to katniss before she goes to the capitol. and if he had said those words, katniss would've probably stayed true to him... and also katniss wouldn't like NEVER contact or talk to him AGAIN even after she has kids... etc. etc. :(

Does anyone realize how much it would SUCK to be Gale? **SPOILERS** His best friend/hunting partner/girl that he loves gets sent to die, he has to watch her kiss another guy on live tv, he has to pretend to be her cousin, he feeds her family while Katniss is gone, it is announced that Peeta and Katniss are engaged, she goes in the games again, Peeta announces that Katniss is pregnant, he again has to watch her kiss another guy on tv, in mockingjay his bomb design ends up killing her sister. :(
