the pronunciation is intentional in replacing "R" for "L" (IF there is a double meaning to the song, its not obvious or it could be very region-especific). my guess is that this "mocking" happens all over latin america not only in my country Ecuador, and I can say it is not meant in a racist way, absolutely and totally positive on that. its like pet names and use of diminutives all over. (chinito= diminutive for CHINO= chinese). Chavez Ravine is a fantastic album. "El UFO cayo" is my favorite
