Its just difficult for one person to pick-up many causes, so most ppl tend to go with where their hearts are at, in any case it is all done with good intent, and no one should be reprimanded for being passionate about wanting to stop something from being tortured or in agony, but I do agree with your comment, "We are a beauty based society."
I think if anythink this video shows just how much of a beauty based culture we are. Horses get killed and people freak. Cows get killed the same way and no one says shit. @yankees032778 I know you obviously are stupid enough to not know that the cows you eat ( I should let you know I am a vegetarian) are bred and raised to be eaten but horses are not. @horsejumpergal23 how does that make a difference? killing is killing, and if you're going to protest horse killing, then you must protest pig killing, cow killing, and dog killing (dog meat is ok but not the best). And because you seem in favor of killing pigs, dogs and cows, you are being hypocritical. And because horse meat is a delicacy, I only eat on special occasions, such as my parents anniversary or on my girlfriends birthday, so I'm not fat. Trust me, the outcome of horse killing's good

@horsejumpergal23 HORSES AREN'T PEOPLE! Who cares if they suffer? I don't know why you care so much about horses, they're just livestock. I suggest that if you want to lose weight, you stop riding horses and start doing real work outs (or maybe horse racing). If anything you should be sympathetic towards horse meat eaters like myself when you talk about how horses are treated in slaughterhouses, as we could get sick from eating contaminated horse meat

Horses are my life and since you aren't a horse person you wouldn't know how much they mean to me. My dad died trying to save a horse and my mom is an olympic trainer in fairfield. They mean a lot to me and again you wouldn't know that getting a horse safley and cleanly over a 6 to 7 foot jump is definately a workout.

And since you OBVIOUSLY know NOTHING about horses you wouldn't know! I have nothing against black people by the way. Horses enjoy being ridden and if they didn't like something you would be on the ground in a matter of seconds. @horsejumpergal23 because you've been such a twat about it, I've called my horse meat butcher and the slaughterhouses in mexico he gets his meat from, and they both say that there horses are treated extremely humanely and respectfully, and have very sanitary environments. He said those other pictures are from other countries, and from decades ago when horses weren't killed humanely. So this means I was right before when I said that horses were killed by killed and friendly slaughterers.

If this happen to any of my horses i would hurt the person who did it to them, no horses deserve to be treated like this, no matter what they did killin them is not gonna help anything, alll horse want is to be loved and tookin care of, why could u sit there and kill off one of the most beutiful creatures to life, they save us and give us life i would be lost with out my horse he is my best friend and ya sometimes he acts up but i just work with him more so he wont! yea n 2006 they dd shut down, but now there is a thing called "over breeding" ... basically what im trying to say is that, there are MILLIONS OF HORSES STARVING TO DEATH EVERYDAY BECUASE THERE OWNERS CANT AFFORD FEED ANYMORE! becuase tree huggers like you had to shut them down, they were more humane becuase most of those horses had incurible diseases, would you rather they lived life being in pain and ill for the rest of thier lives? the slaughter houses where alot more humane then those picture

@vashberner I'm sorry but if you did not notice....they have thousands of sponsors for helping people care for their horses when they are in financial trouble, even local feed companys help out. Slaughter houses are not at all "humane".....Have you even ever been to a slaughter house? I have....my mom rescued over 35 horses from a slaughter house in Canada. NOTHING can compare to the fear and pain they feel in those slaughter houses. You just knowingly made a lot of horse lovers extremely angry.

My loan pony was rescued from a slaughter house as a foal, thou his mother was stil killed :( His owners have now just got another from the slughter house, but they carnt save all of them :(
