at 7:34, you really show a real lack of respect and misunderstanding of Asian culture with a Nazi march in front of the Gate. This humour is in poor taste.
@brianmk2 We were making fun of the standard confusion displayed by novice backpackers who show up in Asia and freak out when they see a swastika. Chill out. I have a perfect grasp of swastika's Buddhist origins.
hahaha...blue sky, how rare....still miss Tainan a lot though. I lived on Wu Fei Che a few blocks from the temple. The Nazi thing is ignorant, it ruins the rest of this video. The swastika is backwards from the Buddhist symbol of the wheel of life.
@huskie44 You are right about swastikas being buddhist symbols, but the sticker on the scooter is a straight-up flag of the nazi party with the proper color scheme and proportions.
But yes, oddly enough, people see the buddhist swastikas in Asia and panic about Nazis, something we like to screw around with / make fun of in other videos. People in India used the swastika for 3--4 thousand years, while Hitler used it for less than 20 years, and yet it somehow became his property...
Although the sticker depicted at 7:05 (in that colour co-ordination) is clearly the symbol of National Socialist Germany, you should know that the swastika much predates as a religious symbol its relatively recent role as a symbol of a come-and gone European political movement.

Those aren't swastikas but Buddhist symbols, pisses me of when people get the two combined as one demonic cult. Otherwise nice video!
