I think she has gorgeous line. Okay, she doesn't dance like a rhythmic gymnast, but she has a great feel for the music and really capitalizes on her long limbs. Corella, of course, never fails to impress me!

Even thought Julie Kent's extensions aren't like Svetlana Zakharova's, keep in mind she's been with ABT for at least 20 years and she still dances as well as the 20 year olds out there. She has more experience, and still captures the audience's attention.

They're both terrible, w/ tasteless mise en scène & a disregard for continuity and organization. The Mariinskys is better, but unfortunately it discards Adams score for a pastiche arranged from his scores for the ballet "La Jolie fille du Gand" and the opera "Si j'étais roi". The best production of all is the Bolshois 2007 revival, which includes Petipas dances reconstructed & décor & constumes inspired by the designs for Petipa's final 1899 revival for Pierina Legnani.

I really do love this performed as a pas de trois instead of a pas de deux. They have so much chemistry together and all three of them have impeccable technique and a great style. Angel Corella is marvelous, he didn't start dancing until he was 19. Ethan Stiefel, yes he's good but I def prefer Angel. Julie K. in this video seems to have less extension than she used to; still strong as hell though. I saw her in Symphony in C; she was in the 2nd movement...amazing! Thanks for posting!

I think Julie Kent dances beautifully. So much control and a gorgeous performer. I'm sure many others will agree. Ethan Stiefel is just plain legend. He recently performed with The Australian Ballet in Don Quixote, and he got a standing ovation.

Corella is absolutely fabulous in this video, he has the best, cleanest pirouettes of any dancer around. Kent is another matter. She is cold, stiff and generally just fucking bad. She looks awkward, her body fixes instead of flowing and she shows absolutely no artistry or style. She slaughters this performance. I feel sorry for corella having to work with such an abomination.
