I think under the right circumstances it's fine, as long as changes aren't done for negative reasons. using tape or and glue on your eyelids will help for the time being but after you was it off or comes off it'll make your eye lids stretch out and make them a lot worse. try excepting yourself.

Where are people getting this idea that tape stretches your eyelids? I assume for the most part you guys are all in the teens-20's. Skin doesn't get flappy until you're in your mid-40's to 50's. I don't know about glue, but the tape just makes a barrier that your lids fold over. It doesn't stretch anything out if you apply it correctly. You can't make something from nothing. Also, it depends on the way that you sleep (on your side, on your back, etc?) and how much you sleep.

yea i did. but u probably want to use some mascara and curl your lashes when you wear eyeliner because other wise the reflection of the tape will give it away really easily. but if you have curled lashes, it kind of cancels out the glare making it look more natural. i hope that made sense.

any kind of 3m tape will work and it really depends on the thickness of your eyelid to determine which method is more suitable. if you have thinner lids i'd use tape and if you have thicker lids start off with glue.

yeah my lids were pretty heavy before so i'd wear glue to sleep the tape would fall off for me or not make a fold in the morning. over time though your lids would losen up and maintain the fold just like mine did :)

yeah that's a possibility but again it's a risk. the droopiness can cause the double eyelid to form or it may just be pure droopiness. depends on the person's luck really.

it's a hit or miss situation with double eyelid methods. some people actually get the bigger fold over time while some other people do get saggier lids. it's a risk to take. but i'd say stick to your double eyelids now if you don't wanna take the risk. : (

Do you know the effects on long term ? I mean, you are young so the skin would be back to its original shape when you stop using the tape/glue, but what about when you get older and the skin loses its elasticity ? Would it really change something ? (i am asking out of curiosity, no offense at all)
