  • Is it possible to find a powder that repels magnets?

  • 240p, challenge everything

  • fucking magnets how do they work?

  • you can buy 19 grams for 1.34 euros

  • where can i get those two

  • FUCKIN MAGNETS, HOW DO THEY WORK?

  • +Could it mostly be from the difference of particle size, they would cancel out more of the effect and if you were to try this again in oil we might see an interesting difference!

  • you can just use soil...promise it works......

  • where to buy these ???

  • Fuckin' magnets, how do they work?

  • fucking magnetic powder

  • ....what happens if you mixed up some magnet powder w/water and drank it????

  • Fuckin magnets, How do they work?

  • HD, you need it!!!

  • We got magnet powder stuck to several magnets and ca't get it all off! How is the best way to remove magnet powder from a magnet?

  • I wanted to get a good idea of the 3D field of various magnets, so I mixed baby oil with iron fillings in a clear plastic bottle. Works well, gives 3D image of fields for quite some distance.

  • Do Alnico magnets lose their strength over time ? On average how long might an alnico magnet last before it becomes demagnetized ? Can they be sustained with a " keeper "?

  • Search magnet4sale on google and go to CMS magnetics, they have the best prices EVER! A magnet that has 150 LB pull force is about 8$. But buy more because shipping will still be about the same no matter how many you order so you don't have to pay shipping twice.

  • fukin' magnets, how do they work?

  • @ffjfvfhu And I don't wanna talk to a scientist, y'all mothafuckers lyin' and gettin' me pissed

  • hey this Mr.George AGAIN!! Pedo voice O.o

  • OMG that is so cool!

  • I sure don't want that magnet to come near my PC.

  • not as beautiful as the original iron powder

    this felt like contaminated :P

  • urmom roles over and over on me!

  • Fuckin' magnets.

    How do they work?

And I don't wanna talk to a scientist, cuz you motherfuckers lying and gettin' me pissed.

  • Thats awesome! Its like magnet playdoh.

  • Fucking magnets. How do they work?

  • @Lightyagami121 Fuckin miracles.

  • @Lightyagami121 magic everywhere in this bitch

  • i got some from the thing where it had a magnetic pen and you drag the tiny iron and decorate a face

  • So where does magnet powder come from? Do you make it simply by crushing and grinding a larger magnet?

  • where can i find large and strong neodymium magnets for a low price like

    1-5 dollars

  • I don't know. Maybe if you find them let me know. Of course they will probably be stolen or something like that.

  • @TheUniverseIsCool in your HDD

  • @TheUniverseIsCool Although it is not from Supermagnetman, K&J Magnetics has N50 magnets under $5

  • Nice! What do you know about Ferrofluid???

  • You should make a fluid of this stuff :)

Would beat the Ferro-fluid-sculptures, I bet

  • Iron powder when in the presence in a magnetic field DOES have a north and south pole.

  • Boring.

  • He talks too much!

  • where do you find this?

  • GOOD :)

  • i have that kind of powder

  • Does anyone know where to get these types of magnetic powders?

  • I wish I could play with magnets all day.

  • earrape O,ö

  • cool

  • Modern Ceramic Magnets don`t rust.

  • Could you demonstrate suspending a larger quantity of NdFeB powder in a clear bottle of mineral oil?

Also, how long does it take the NdFeB powder to rust away into something non-magnetic once it is exposed to air, moisture, and finger oils?

  • Could you do a video demonstrating the effects of magnets on compasses , because i did a demonstration at college and they produced a very interesting pattern.

  • i've only tried that with iron filings. hmm what happens if you mix all those powders together?

  • could explane the morphing ufo.

  • needs to be in high def.

  • wasnt the first 1 just iron filings or sumthin?

  • umm... iron filings don't magnetically stick together without a magnet being nearby... it was alnico powder, which you would've known if you'd actually have watched the video before you commented...

  • lol i love magnets, i made myself a earing by taking 1 magnet, taping it to a quarter, and then magnetising them around my ear

  • how come you have a green screen behind you, but never use it in editing

if you do want to use it in editing, you need better lgithing

    magnent powder=wicked cool

  • Good question - you should see what the screen is covering up (well no you shouldn't:). But that is why it was there. I wanted to knock out the green with Shake 4.1 but the lighting is nowhere near even enough and I was not going to rotoscope every frame.

  • you know that i am going to ask whats behind the screen, but you should get more even lighting, and make your background look cool

you dont have to do every frame

i think you can use wax( windows only)

do a choma key, so everything with that color is turned transparent

  • u just bought magnetic forensic power for science class! its soo cool!

  • that kinda reminds me of me making iron filings out of steel wool

  • were do u get super magnets

  • how do u separate the powder when it gets on the magnet?

  • Lots of time spent tediously pinching the powder off the magnets:) That is why i use the acrylic plastic to separate them as much as possible.

  • what happens when you put electricity in the mix?

  • I am not sure what you mean about "in the mix". I mean the neo magnets are somewhat conductive so i guess they would conduct electricity and get hot and explode. I assure you I am not going to try it.

  • aha!

  • looks like hair lol

  • I think the iron is way cooler looking

  • I would love to get magnets like these. Stuff like neodymium spears, and stuff. However, i have no clue where to get them. Does anyone know where i can get them?

  • where in the hell do u get those powders???

  • eBay ?

  • That was a really cool video ! I really want to try that at home now!

  • Thanks. Do you have any neo powder?

  • Hi,

No, I only have basic magnets here at home. But own of my teachers in college showed me an Alnico magnet just the other day(this is what made me interested and got me to your video) - it was a large one(about 1 pound) and it was very powerful.

Is there a way for me to get the powders that you used for a good deal online? I'll try to look it up myself soon.

    Thanks for the great video!

  • no i havend

  • O_O IDEA

Get 2 plates of glass like that of which you have, sperate them about 1 1/2" apart from each other horizantaly. Place the powder in the center of the bottom glass plate, take two of those magnets on both outer sides of the glass and you should be able to make complete 3-D figures, like spheres!

  • Watching your enthusiasm is almost as fun as your videos! Thanks for the inspiration.
