  • anyone have a tab :| i have something down for this, but its tricky... im doing it for a performance as my college project

any help will be appreciated, thanks guys

yeah back to the real stuff

this is one sweet blues cover

    love it :)

  • Thank you for your comment. Sorry, I currently have no tab available for this song. If you are in open D (DADf#ad low to high) the main slide lick works out on the 2nd and 3rd string at the 12th fret. The rhythm is your basic rock and roll shuffle rhythm. I hope this helps. Enjoy.

  • amazing! the blues is in our hearts

  • Thank you for your kind words. Enjoy.

  • you are good player but your guitar it's orribol eh! i'm sorry but it's realy bad...

  • Thank you for your comment. Well, competing against a Tricone is no easy deal for a single cone. This video certainly doesn't express my guitar's full potential. Enjoy.

  • I enjoyed it!

  • Thank you for your comment.

  • hey

nice feel ... good reso sound

  • Thank you. Enjoy.

  • nice pickin' and slidin' guys. All you need is to pound a fifth of moonshine and rough up that voice! ;-)

  • Thank you. lol. Well, old Keni Lee is a bit of a light weight. I cut myself off after a couple of drinks. Of course, my preferred poison is Gin on the Rocks. Hell, a fifth of moonshine! You would be peeling me off the floor and the only thing you would hear is a lot of nonsensical mumbling. lol. Enjoy.

  • i dont like this version i love ludacris and pharrells version 2,000 times better

  • Thank you for your valued opinion. Maybe you should try doing something yourself. I guess I'm not going to be one of your favorites videos. Enjoy.

  • Nothin' else sounds like a resonator :)

  • Thank you. I have to agree! Enjoy.

  • Rockin!!

    Keep the faith.

  • Thank you. Enjoy.

  • Cool :)

  • Thank you.

  • WoW That Is Good

  • Thank you. Happy New Year. Enjoy.

  • Cool...well done...

  • Thank you. Happy New Year.

  • No worries!Wont bore you, but I played with an English rock guitarist in the 60's called Dave Ball, from Birmingham in the UK.He used to play bottle-neck with a damn Vimto bottle! (Dont know if you have Vimto in the US- I think you would call it soda) and he had a Watkins Rapier solid which was a poor mans Strat. He was ace and later achieved some fame when he joined Procul Harem. Cheers

  • Thank you for writing. Please feel free to write. Interesting, not boring. Enjoy.

  • Yeah Dave's still playing, he pops over to NZ pretty regularly and is a monster guitarist and genuinely nice bloke :)

  • Thank you for your comment. Happy Holidays! Enjoy.

  • Well I thought you were f...ing great - but I was a drummer !!! Are you guys American or English? Your stuff has more energy than half the stuff in the charts now. Brilliant

  • Thank you. We are both American, but my family was orginally from England. Enjoy.

  • Hm..better listen to the great Elmore James. This is rubbish!

  • Thank you for your comment. Yes, Elmore James is a great slide guitarist. I'm sorry you did not like my cover. Maybe you should spend your time in a more constructive manner, by working on your own page or learning to play yourself. I'm assuming you are a child on the internet without parental supervision.

  • God I love Roots/Blues music.....all modern music derives from these roots....Keep up the good work....

  • Thank you. I agree. I love the primative simplicity of this artform. It has a homemade quality like a fresh baked apple pie. It can affect you emotionally like attending a church sermon or walking in a graveyard at night. Many of the songs use very few notes. I think that makes them even more powerful. We hook on to them, and feel the groove. Enjoy.

  • I've been grooving to your sound (videos) which I came upon whilst searching Duane. Very enjoyable - and the sound quality is amazing.

  • Thank you for the kind words.

  • well than thats the best trainwreck ive ever heard

  • Thank you for your comment.

  • Very nice playing!!!!!

  • Thank you for the kind words.

Also, if you are interested in learning this style or purchasing my new music CD, Good & Evil, please go to ebay and search: Keni Lee Please feel free to write if you have any questions. Thanks again for your interest.

  • what type of guitars are those?

  • Bill on the left is playing a 90's National Resophonic steel bodied Tricone, and I'm playing a rebuilt 1935 14 fret National Duolian.

  • wher could i find the music notations for this blue?

  • Please consider buying my instructional video CD that is available on Ebay. Just search: Keni Lee. You will learn the rhythm part (fast version of Dust My Broom) and all the basic scale theory necessary that will make it possible to figure out the song by yourself. It's a fun way to learn and been well received by my students. Happy Holidays.

  • man this is bloody awesome! well done Elmore James would b proud! love the slide and the especially the claw picking! perfect overall!

  • Thank you.

  • Excelent! Great Country Rock!

  • Thank you. Please check out my other videos.

  • Great job guys.brilliant slide guitar and a voice that sounds like it came from the 1930's..... in your living room to boot! superb! Elmore James and errrrr, Bill Broonzy!

  • Thank you. I'm getting together real soon with my good pal, Blimey Bill, and we'll cook up some new vids.

  • I must have comeback and listened over 40 times so far...lol Love that intro. This kills any version on youtube.

  • Thank you. When Bill came over to shoot these videos we had some pizza and beer. I'm a light weight when it comes to drinking. I was feeling good, so I said, let's do one more video. We never played this song together before, but I was messing around with it earlier in the day. I though, hey, what the hell. It was like I said, a train wreck, but a lot of fun. That's exactly why I play guitar. I need to get together again with Bill and shoot some more video.

  • HOLY SHIT do you guys have that feeling and style down. Absolutely felt that! Nice job!!

  • Thank you. This is a great tune to play on the street. It always gets somebody dancing.

  • that song is on big muther truckers by elmore james good ol times i miss that game

  • I haven't listened to nearly enough Elmore James. I got to take the time and listen to more. I read, Derek Trucks is a big fan of Elmore

  • that dog love the blues baby awesome

  • Thank you. Onyx is the best.

  • nice job guys!

  • Thank you.

  • Just great guys!! a big 5.

  • Thank you.

  • This is outta sight man, I'm a huge fan of Delta blues especially Robert Johnson and cats like Muddy Waters, older the better but I must say Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac did a real nice cover of this. Ive always wanted to learn the old slide, I play harmonica and bass in a band, but slide seems to grab me more so than the other instruments.

  • Thank you. Did you see my "Excellent Ebay Find" video and my instructional videos? Get a guitar my friend and an old bottleneck. The Blues is calling!

  • Gee, I, too, am running out of compliments LOL

Well, cheers to both you, you had me rocking on chair!

  • Thank you. We did this one on a whim. The boogie-woogie bass line is great for about 1000 diferent songs.

  • you gotta love that dog licking at your leg there!

  • Thank you. He's a great little dog. I got him about a year ago, from a local shelter. He was only one year old when I got him. He's a cockapoo. He appears in a lot of the other videos.

  • You guys rock! Great version of the Elmore james classic.

  • Thank you. Please check out the other duet videos.

  • Thank you, really enjoyed that! I started playing two years ago at the age of 42 having stopped playing as a teenager. Just starting to try to play some slide. Guys like you give me inspiration to keep trying even though my playing sounds like a cat being killed...slowly!

    Cheers

  • Thanks Derin111. As you can tell, I love slide. A real good instructional video is Mike Dowling's Bottleneck Blues and Beyond. Keep it simple. Work on a steady beat and a clean tone. Enjoy!

  • Thank you. I'm glad you like it.

  • runnin out of compliments, thanks keni & bill, regards bluespower...
