Porrage with soya milk and a bit of water is a miracle breakfast! I shove a few blueberries on mine in the morning, don't add sugar or salt to it! Keeps me full right up to lunchtime as it is a slow releasing energy food! You just don't want to eat anything else until then...Also I try and drink up to 2 litres of water a day as well as green tea! You're tips are fantastic though! I'm really interested to see what happens with the apple cider vinegar trick! Is it like a detox or something?
@PllSpoby It's okay, but if you are trying to keep the habit of drinking it and without sugar try to get any kind that isn't in a box....that's just a weird thing that all the not so good tea has in common. A really good loose tea is "the tao of tea"....a really good bagged tea is "Zhyna's Gypsy".

omg thank you that was great i think its really smart to put up what you have learned and what you do with your life i have been following similarly the same way but i cant nessisarily say i cut out all packaged food because where i live we dont have much else but i do limit my in take of packaged stuff to maybe a couple of things
I´m 165 cm and my weight is about 60 kg. My friends in my age weight 40-47 kg. (I´m taller then they are...) Do you think that is OK??? I don´t think I look fat and i workout 1 hour in a day. I´ve tried to lose some weight. But NOTHING has worked!!! I do competitive sport on national level. So I get a lot workout then too.

@kawaiinekoish If you're taller than ur friends then you're bound to weigh more than them because the extra bones etc that make up your height weigh up too. It doesn't mean that ur fatter or need to lose weight! I weigh a lot more than friends who I share clothes with and more than some of my curvier friends even because I have more muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat so if you're leaner and more toned than your friends then you'll naturally weigh more. If u know u don't LOOK fat then u aren't!!

I am 14 I started this new life style change, I am doing over 1,1/2 hours of zumba a day, 100 crunches and a good power walk, plus sets of different aerobic exercises each day, to give you an idea of what I eat a normal day might be 1 piece of fruite for breakfast than a piece of lettuce and carrot at lunch, an after noon snack might be like a few more vegetables.... I have a small healthy dinner "WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?:"
@Sliprez Sweetie u won't see results because u are not eating enough!! When u don't eat enough good calories which for an active young person like you is around 2000 per day then ur metabolism panics and thinks ur in a tough situation so it starts to burn fat MUCH slower to save energy. Eat 2000 calories a day and keep exercising and you'll see results super fast! I used to do what u do in school and I'd see tiny results in a week and then nothing for weeks and weeks until I learnt this.
@Sliprez Have you had your thyroid gland checked? If you have hypothyroidism (under active thyroid), that can prevent you from weight loss, no matter how hard you are trying. Also, if you have that low of a caloric intake and you work out as much as you say that you do daily, your body could be in a state of starvation. You could be overdoing it. In this state, your body holds on to everything you eat because it is starving. Don't over do it, eat lots of protein and veggies. Good luck!

Okay, I'm 13 years old, I have a very low self-esteem, and I've been browsing through weight-loss videos for 2 hours now.
My dad is always telling me I'm fat, he THINKS he's teasing me but he's not. I'm determined to lose 20 LBS, without changing my diet that much. I only eat twice a day, and that's only an early lunch and dinner. I exercise daily, but it has NOT been helping. My parents want me to lose weight, but they won't even help by cooking right or anything.
@JessieAshley2010 Dont let your parents get to u. Ur still growing... try staying away from soda, drink lots of water (8 cups a day) and have smaller portions of food. Try not to stress about it cuz that affects your body too.
@JessieAshley2010 Hi! When I was your age I had a problem similar to yours and I went to a nutritionist and here's what she told me(sort of) :). First you're 13 and your still growing so your body might have a couple pounds in places you don't want them to...But I assure you once you grow a couple inches the fat will spread out into all the right places. And second, if you want to change your diet I would say add more proteins like fish, chicken, and even tofu.

YOU are the only one who can make this happen. stop blaming it on your parents and take responsibility. Change the dinner by cooking some vegetables for dinner and some plain chicken with the skin off instead of whatever they eat. DON'T eat carbs for dinner and dont eat after 5pm. I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to put my point through. :)
really good video but quick question: how do you keep all your vitamin and mineral levels up if you cut out meat? i mean vegetables are a form of substitute but for example the iron levels in beef are significantly higher than in anything else and u'd have to eat like a truckload to get the same amount

@r1ssky That's what my parents told me when I was 12 too. Don't be so sure. If you don't start exercising and continue eating processed foods and meat/dairy then you won't get any better. At around age 10 I started getting fat, and continued until last year (age 15) when I decided to do something about it.

I used to be pescetarian (for 6 months lol), but here in Texas we had a VERRY HOT SUMMER. And since heat leads to aggressive behavior, I lost my momentum of my healthy lifestyle. That includes me not working out anymore and eating a lot of processed foods. I gained 15 pounds in the summer! Now that it's almost fall, I'm' motivated to get back on track :)

I think you're right on most of what you're saying. I don't eat an awful lot, but I do eat microwave meals and don't eat enough fruit. I think the pescetarian? Hey hun, theres other things u can eat 4 breakfast besides bacon or waffles. Try cereal (theres plenty of organic options that are minimally processed) with nuts & a little soy milk or maybe toasted, home made, wholemeal bread with mashed banana ? Even home made pancakes with a berry sauce &natural yoghurt? Also, honey's a good natural sweetener alternative coz it' full of antioxidants & no preservatives.
Food does not have 2 be totally raw for it 2 be healthy!

there's nothing wrong with drinking tap water.. there is almost no difference and barely any benefit from drinking bottled water. (obviously im talking about if you live somewhere like canada or usa where the water is clean)
@iwantmypineappleback Actually, the tap water in the US is quite disgusting in comparison to Europe, specifically Switzerland. It tastes a lot like chlorine and other chemicals they put in there. Regarding the nutrients, I agree with you. But tastewise, our water is far better.

Okay, I'm 13 years old, I have a very low self-esteem, and I've been browsing through weight-loss videos for 2 hours now.
My dad is always telling me I'm fat, he THINKS he's teasing me but he's not. I'm determined to lose 20 LBS, without changing my diet that much. I only eat twice a day, and that's only an early lunch and dinner. I exercise daily, but it has NOT been helping. My parents want me to lose weight, but they won't even help by cooking right or anything.
Any tips?

@JessieAshley2010 Dont let your parents get to u. Ur still growing... try staying away from soda, drink lots of water (8 cups a day) and have smaller portions of food. Try not to stress about it cuz that affects your body too.

@JessieAshley2010 Hi! When I was your age I had a problem similar to yours and I went to a nutritionist and here's what she told me(sort of) :). First you're 13 and your still growing so your body might have a couple pounds in places you don't want them to...But I assure you once you grow a couple inches the fat will spread out into all the right places. And second, if you want to change your diet I would say add more proteins like fish, chicken, and even tofu.

@JessieAshley2010 remember to add a lot of fruits and veggies to your diet because you can eat as much of them as you want Whenever you feel like snacking just grab some fruits/veggies and drink a glass of water I promise you this will make your body feel great Don't let your dad get you down because you are a growing girl and everyone's bodies are going through changes at your age youre already doing a good job if u work out everyday. @JessieAshley2010 Cook your own food and don't expect them to do everything for you to loose weight. YOU are the only one who can make this happen. stop blaming it on your parents and take responsibility. Change the dinner by cooking some vegetables for dinner and some plain chicken with the skin off instead of whatever they eat. DON'T eat carbs for dinner and dont eat after 5pm. I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to put my point through. :)

@r1ssky That's what my parents told me when I was 12 too. Don't be so sure. If you don't start exercising and continue eating processed foods and meat/dairy then you won't get any better. At around age 10 I started getting fat, and continued until last year (age 15) when I decided to do something about it.

I used to be pescetarian (for 6 months lol), but here in Texas we had a VERRY HOT SUMMER. And since heat leads to aggressive behavior, I lost my momentum of my healthy lifestyle. That includes me not working out anymore and eating a lot of processed foods. I gained 15 pounds in the summer! Now that it's almost fall, I'm' motivated to get back on track :)

I think you're right on most of what you're saying. I don't eat an awful lot, but I do eat microwave meals and don't eat enough fruit. I think the pescetarian? Hey hun, theres other things u can eat 4 breakfast besides bacon or waffles. Try cereal (theres plenty of organic options that are minimally processed) with nuts & a little soy milk or maybe toasted, home made, wholemeal bread with mashed banana ? Even home made pancakes with a berry sauce &natural yoghurt? Also, honey's a good natural sweetener alternative coz it' full of antioxidants & no preservatives.
Food does not have 2 be totally raw for it 2 be healthy!

there's nothing wrong with drinking tap water.. there is almost no difference and barely any benefit from drinking bottled water. (obviously im talking about if you live somewhere like canada or usa where the water is clean)

@iwantmypineappleback Actually, the tap water in the US is quite disgusting in comparison to Europe, specifically Switzerland. It tastes a lot like chlorine and other chemicals they put in there. Regarding the nutrients, I agree with you. But tastewise, our water is far better.

Think about it, most water bottle brands are owned by pop drink makers. Lots of people drink bottled water because water bottling companies market bottled water as "better" when in reality there's no benefit.
