Well,ya gotta admit,the only thing thats not as bad is tangling with a skunk.ALWAYS good to keep afew lrg cans of tomato juice in the summer time,cuz hey,ya never know.
We had a dog when i was a teenager living in a remote town in Idaho attack a porcupine and came home with 38 quills deeply imbedded in the side of his face and neck and chest. We didn't have the luxury of a vet where we lived.....so we proceeded to extract them ourselves without any drugs. Very painfull for the dog and for us....quills do not comeout easilly. They dont come out as easy as they go in...very traumatic experience for the dog who not 6 months later....yep...did it again.
