  • Wow, I'm impressed with both your technical and creative skills not to mention ingenuity! UBER COOL!!!

  • very cool!

  • Wow. Thanks for sharing this awesome modification. I wonder a couple of things, because we've been hoping to do the same thing: 1) where online did you get your best pictures of Rocky; 2) what are the 4 spray cans for, and when did you use each? Thanks again!

  • 1. This was a tricky thing to do. Basically, I obtained all of them through Google, and then used Firefox's magnification tool to get close up to them.

  • 2. Adhesion Promoter, Plastic Primer, Paint, and Clear Coat. The Adhesion promoter is a good bonding agent for paint to plastic. Its usual application is in plastic car panels, but it did an awesome job in this instance. The primer is so that the spray paint will set up correctly. The paint was added to put a nice base coat onto the guitar before hand. The clear was so that the hand paint would be under a nice shell and be somewhat protected.

  • And you put them on in that order? What brand/color name was the light blue? How many coats of paint did you use? Did you spray the whole guitar with the clear coat, back and front? And thanks again!

  • Correct, the light blue was probably a little darker shade than the real guitar, which I believe is closer to a light or baby blue color. I sprayed the entire guitar with clear, minue the fret buttons portion, front and back. All paints (minus adhesion promoter, and primer) received 4 coats.

  • The image at 1:35 in your video: can you give a URL for that? I haven't been able to find it. Also: have you found images that are certifiably Rocky, and not recreations? (I mean closeups, not the ones from Magical Mystery Tour where George is playing it.) THANKS!

  • you can use that in the beatles rock band

  • How much did it cost you to do this mod? I'm completely new to painting anything really so would there be a chance to do a literal text based step by step instruction on how to do this? Thanks! and Great Work!!

  • The mod to the guitar itself was maybe 40 bucks or so all together. The spray paints are the most expensive, the hand paints were cheap like 50 cents to a dollar at Wally World.

  • One of the best videos on YouTube!!!

  • That is AWESOME!!

  • That's real fuckin' neato.

  • neat

  • Do mine for me kthx :>

  • way cool.
