you need to be careful with the blue tailed lizards-they bite...my dad was trying to be all cool one time when we were in gatlinburg at a resturant and trying to catch it and it bit the crap out of his finger and it hurt for a few hours afterward!!- Jamie
I did something like that once. Disturbing the dirt ended up letting more water down next to the basement when it rained, and my basement started leaking with every rain.
I was so happy to get out of that house.

I squished the back side of a lizard today too. I felt badly for about 10 seconds. There are SO many lizards here lately.
