Everyone, calm down! The reason why I asked over and over again is because his reaction was funny. He was never abused. The reason why he is in a crate with paper and a blocked off portion is because he was being potty/crate trained. Do the research - it's not mean. This dog is well trained and was never once harmed or frightened. He is the friendliest dog and is not timid around people/dogs. Not to mention, I'm his favorite (and he is NOT scared of me) There you have it!

@HollsHeartsPuppies I believe Harry was a few months old in this video. And yes, I can scold a dog for shredding paper because shredding leads sometimes to eating of the paper. And I'm pretty sure it's unhealthy for dogs to eat paper. On top of that, who wants a grown dog running around and shredding/eating newspaper, kid's homework, etc. Needless to say, Harry is a great adult dog who doesn't shred anything other than his bones.
@malignantexodus Small space was for a short period and there was a purpose for that. It's called crate/potty training. If you do the research, you'll learn that dogs, by their nature, don't potty in the space they eat/sleep. Hence, the small space, which taught him not to pee/poop in his crate and that the correct place to do such was outside. Because of this training, he never once pooped in the house AND had only a few pee accidents. Quite impressive if you ask me!
omg he looks so ashamed about the whole thing omg i wish my caviler would but she just gets the paper and runs around me to mock me that i cant catch her what is this.

@malignantexodus I guess you've never heard of crate training? They don't keep the dog in the cage, it's used for house training purposes.
