There's a membrane in the eyelid that makes it IMPOSSIBLE for a contact to roll into the back of your eye. Maybe YOU'RE doing something wrong.

Have you talked to your optomitrist to see what the goo is? That would probably be your best bet. Talk to your eye doctor and get it checked.

yeah u r right. if u use your contacts for more than 8 hrs that can happend i know this cause it happend to me also u might want to buy rewetting drops for your eyes cause if they get red and have green puss that means that your eyes are dry if u r scared then give your eye doctor a call maybe your eyes are not made to use contacts

It can be bad but you dhould have to worry too much. Just put the contact on your finger and while holding your eye open slowly place the contact down on your eye and youll do just fine.

Long nails can make it challenging to put contacts in so i kinda see you delima here. But you would have to find a method that works for you to put them in. Either that or just cut your nails shorter. But if you choose to keep your nails you should be careful as you put your contacts in otherwise you could do damage to your eye.

nope all it does it stick it your pointer but u can end up tairing the lense when taking it off so never use your nails to take off a contact u can also end u scratching u r eye

I just got contact lenses today...To improve my eyesight. I'm not scared of scratching my eye...Because my family has had eye problems. I'm 13 years old... I mean it's not THAT scary to stick something in your eye... If you can touch your eye with your finger your fine to wear contact lenses. I recommend them. I swear guy's there NOT SCARY.

If you already have problems with your eyes contacts may worsen that condition, but you're right. If you take care of your contacts and are very careful when you put then in and take them out, you shouldn't have any problems. Just don't wear them for too long, wash your hands and be gentle. Trust me, I wore contacts for almost 15 years and a lot of people I know can't wear them anymore because of the damage they've caused themselves over time. Think about it, you only get one pair of eyes...

I have no choice but to wear contacts. The doctor told me if I didn't my eye sight would worsen. I know you can damage your eyes if your a complete moron and don't care what happens to you. I try to be as careful as possible.

Thank you for subtly calling me a moron Mr. 13 year old experienced contact wearer. Accidents happen. When your eyes get dry, it's very difficult to get your contacts out. What would you do? With all your knowledge and expertise I'm sure you wouldn't have any problems. But for everyone else who's not a know-it-all, you will fare well to get some sort of contact-plunger device. I wish I had one during that time.

Before I got contacts, I hated the idea of having anything in my eye too. I couldn't do eye drops or anything. I finally got fed up with glasses though and decided to try contacts. Once you put them in you cant feel them. I have noticed however, that during the winter my eyes get more dry and they were red a lot.
