Thanks, yeppyea. I am glad you like them... obviously, I do too.
I 'bout got kicked out of my own house when my better half found out I had bought them. I got half of them at once and that is really how I started the collection. Funny you would have thought she would have noticed 100 toenails laying around all of a sudden, wouldn't ya? I ended confessing... stayed in hot water for a year...sometimes I still hear 'bout it too.
If I'm any good with math, a collection of 100 toenails will set you back both arms, legs, and the torso. LOL I'm hoping I won't get too addicted for the sake of my financial stability but these elephant toe knives are just simply gorgeous to look at. Great website btw, I've checked it out in a hurry but I would like to take my time and look over again.
When I first started I collected most anything I liked, which is fine, but I kept getting pulled different directions as I found "new" ones I should consider. THEN, I got attracted to toenails- 1) they were more expensive than the knives I was buying, and 2) After finding a few, I was approached about buying a collection of about 100 of them.
So, I had to sell 'bout every knife I had and then some to get the collection, which resulted in my focus on toenails.
I enjoyed the video Scott! You amke me want to get more specific as to what kind of knife to collect, haha..over the years I has different midn sets as what to collect as far as a theme, for about a year I tried to get one knife from as many different companies as I could, but changed my mind as some companies offered so many different models I liked, it was too hard to pick one to represent the company...Anyway its cool how people taste change a bit with time as mine did alot over the years...
