thx...the fleece is like a dark olive green but fadded a lil. i love that fleece...i'm actually wearing it now. i've been outside for 10 minutes & it 33 but feels like 20. i grabbed it from a buddy who was gonna throw in a garage sale. yes its a soup can around the bottle
Hey Chris, nothing like hot chocolate on a cold day. You get a lot of snow in your area? I was thinking about getting a Mora knife 2 for $20 at the sportsmansguide. Do you think there a good knife and worth it in terms for survival?
go for the 2-$20!! keep 1 for yourself & give 1 for x-mas! mine is a stainless version, not full tang. its alright to sharpen...the carbon steel will hold edges better & longer with less sharpening too
I was going to buy 2 until I found out Sportsmansguide wont ship knifes to my state. But I ordered one on ebay. BTW this is the first video with a zippo that I havent seen a cool trick :P.
great vid ive been thinking about getting a alc stove for my kit at the moment i use a british army hex stove is it right you can use meth spirit in the type you use
I agree with Faol, your very talented. I was really impressed with the firesteel video. Alot of people can't strike it properly with two hands. The Frost knife looks nice. I would like to get one soon. They seem like an excellent value. Awesome vid, it looked really nice out there, *****
You do a better job at that with the primary use of one arm, than most folks do with two. I guess you learn efficiency a bit better than others of us.
I like your video. How did you hurt your arm? Where did you get the pot stand?

thanks! a railing failed & i fell 3 stories, its 1/2 paralyzed. i made the pot stand myself

idunno009 3 years ago
made out of AXE Deoderant spray bottles. just like a pop can stove. cut just a lil less than quater sized hole

Thanks for the Video Chris!
That gray fleece jacket makes for good Camo in the winter woods.
I couldn't tell what You were using for the Nesting pot/cup. is it a can? or something else? I like pots that nest under water bottles or canteens.

Looks like a great in the woods.
I've learned a lot from your videos, thanks for all the information.

Probably not a good idea to set your machete so close to the flame. Risk tempering it, and the spine tensile strength is important for a machete.

I'm still waiting for that omelete though. better get in that kitchen!
