This anime really changed my views on pretty much everything, and it's because of this one I'm watching Tokyo Mew-Mew and reading Bleach, but this one will always have a special place in my heart. :D
This and Pokemon back to back made it worth getting up at 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning for grammar school. Beauty REALLY takes its time in this show lol. Villains could have destroyed them by the time they were done transforming.

iIve just started to see some of this again..and now I realize how original sailor moon was/is because sooo many things have been copied from it...the styles, the transformations, the ideas..
Saying this as a college feminist, I loved Sailor Moon as a kid. Granted, the stripperific transformations went over my head then (seriously, they do kiiiind of go on longer than is really necessary), but seeing as it was mainly about a bunch of girls with magical powers doing girly things and KICKING ASS, this really isn't that surprising.
I miss the old days so much, but thankfully, I've got something to remind me of the good days. I absolutely love this show, it's so fresh in every way. Very refreshing, especially compared to what comes on TV nowadays. It's hard to explain, but this show has a charm that no other show has. When I get the money someday, I'll be sure to buy this whole series.

True true, it is costly, but eh, somewhere down the line whether it's 10 years from now or 20, Sailor Moon will still be the best...and something worth getting even then! I'm broke too :(. Saying this as a college feminist, I loved Sailor Moon as a kid. Granted, the stripperific transformations went over my head then (seriously, they do kiiiind of go on longer than is really necessary), but seeing as it was mainly about a bunch of girls with magical powers doing girly things and KICKING ASS, this really isn't that surprising.

I miss the old days so much, but thankfully, I've got something to remind me of the good days. I absolutely love this show, it's so fresh in every way. Very refreshing, especially compared to what comes on TV nowadays. It's hard to explain, but this show has a charm that no other show has. When I get the money someday, I'll be sure to buy this whole series.

@xxsweetGxx Yup! one of a kind indeed, and very timeless. If I ever do have kids of my own, they will definitely be watching this. And hopefully they will do what I did(waking up at 6:30AM everyday at the age of 4 to get my daily dosage of Sailor Moon) :). Thanks for the upload!

@nesstorre hi :D. Strange of me to respond after 2 months LOL, but I somehow missed this. True true, it is costly, but eh, somewhere down the line whether it's 10 years from now or 20, Sailor Moon will still be the best...and something worth getting even then! I'm broke too :(. College robs people, but eh, even when I reach my late twenties or early thirties, I will not hesitate to spend a small fortune on a good ole childhood charm! :) (And hopefully in HD too heh).

@Squatchopithecus same here im saving all my money to buy the whole series on DVD including the movies and im going to learn to play the piano just so i can play all the songs:) and im saving to buy some clothes of sailor moon hehe cause u cant buy them anywhere else atleast i dont think lolz.... but yea these are my goals SAILOR MOON FAN FOREVER!!! @salamanderz09 haha sounds Great!!! This is something like WORTH it! Do what you can while you're young! (I'm young too heh, but I felt old saying that just now :P). And OMG, I wanted to learn the violin just to play the Uranus/Neptune theme...like wow. but so strapped for cash and time now argh! If you have the opportunity, go for the piano!! You can play like any theme on that! And please, when you do play it, upload it to youtube! :) This show truly left a mark that will never go away <3.

@Squatchopithecus Thanks and dont worry i will but who knows when that will be lol hopefully soon... im already starting to learn japanese ^_^ all bc recently these past few months i watched the entire Sailor Moon series in japanese, lol i say some japanese words to my family in japanese and since were mexican they reply with jibberish (dont know how to spell tht word lol) japanese/spanish hahahh but anyway yea ur young too u could still learn... yes it did leave a mark

@xxsweetGxx I can only assume he was beat for possibly being a male, watching such a girly show. The dad pro'ly didn't want his son to come out gay (typical psychological behavior). I too was in a similar boat, though I didn't get beat, if anything, my parents showered me with the latest sailor moon paraphernalia to hit the market :D I was spoiled when it came to that... Now I'm older and I'm pretty sure all that stuff is gone :(

I remember sitting in the living room while my mom was doing dishes watching Salior Moon on VCR and when it was over I would cry and every morning I was watching Sailor Moon. Now I am 16 almost 17 and I can't ever find Salior Moon and I miss watching it soooo much. I have grown up to fast and it is making me said:(
