So they drive to find no spark plugs yet a Black Hawk shows up to pick up wounded Afghans. It could have brought spark plugs. Then they run out of medication yet when they are told to close down the base two Black Hawks show up. Did somebody fail their logistics courses? How could they run out of stuff if they had access to three Black Hawks?

It's not just the Strykers they have problems with, they don't know how to use their freaking radios.

Huh? Strykers are not that bad, obviously they don't have the highest cross country performance but in europe and the US its more than enough for most of the land. That 8k lb is armor which is well needed. The stryker isn't that much worse than other wheeled APC's like AMV not to mention the BTR series.

ive always thought they were an awesome machine till now, oddly enough ive never thought that a LAV is doomed from the design sheet for difficult terrain. damn

we aussies are also buying the new tanks from the US army, so its 50% tanks 50% LAV's. after seeing this i think we should phase out LAVs altogether
