I'd take the vette, but the GTR sure is unique and elegant.

fact is if u look at the user manual it clearly states turning VDC off will void warranty unless used to rock out of mud or snow. Now most of the ppl launched this car 20 or more times within the first 200 miles. A lot of GTR owners have stated that they signed a document understanding that switching VDC off will void the warranty. The other problem is ppl who dont know how to launch. GTR is a track car not a drag star but still is a godly machine
Nice car, but I highly doubt you'll get even 15 miles to the gallon. I had an 05 vette that was supposed to get 17-27 mpg and never even came close to the EPA fuel estimates. Even when I drove it like a grandpa on sunday morning to church, I never got more than 18 mpg.
I saw one of these thing launch at a stoplight here in LA...incredible. If you think you can get a ZR-1 to hook up and fly like a GTR you are sadly mistaken. No RWD car can hook up like that, the physics are against you. A 700 hp corvette is a dancing partner when you launch from a dead stop, I dont care if it is a factory race car with a transaxle. Maybe its faster but definitely not on the launch.
No I don't like your car and it's not as fast as a ZR1. It is amazing how you all can fall in love with a car without looking into it. Did you all know that if you use the launch control button in this car, your warranty becomes void. That is correct, you lose the warranty on the transmission if you use this feature. The transmission is good for about 38k miles when using launch control. Ask your salesman about that.

If you have a warranty claim on the transaxle and they fing evidence of ABUSE your warranty will be void....No car manufacturer in the world will cover ABUSE. Broken in? Gears dont break in... I've been involved in racing since I was 3 and consquently all the cars I've had or worked on had transaxles(up until my most recent car). I remember when my fathers 944 was new he drove it like his old drag GTO. The 944 had a old school 5 speed transaxle and it still is all original, even with a 350whp setup on the engine. Corvettes have transaxles, how many of those have failed?
I think that you are forgeting the FACT that the GT-R is all-wheel drive. Nissan uses "Independent Transaxle 4WD"(Nissan Patent)so the FACT is you dont know SHIT. Do some research BEFORE you pop off.
Ok so its a automanual transaxle with a transfer case in the rear. I already knew that. I assume most people will know the GTR is awd so I dont see the need in mentioning it. The transfer case isnt breaking(which is very common in high hp awd vehicles) its the main transaxle gears that shred themselves to pieces. My pont was to show that older "obsolete" transaxles will hold the power of a GTR while launching at 4500(same rpm as the GTR).
Automanual refers to all flappy paddle gearboxes. Most all of the them are dual clutch nowadays; Audi, Mercedes, Cadillac, Ferrari, etc. Im 18 guess I just dont type on a retarded level like yourself...
An automanual is a manual transmission that can be shifted like an automatic. Double clutch refers to the fact that the tranny has no torque converter but instead uses two modulating clutches.

That is NOT true. The transmissions are fine, "supposedly" there have been some isolated incidents of people not letting the launch control feature cool down beween runs and also not properly breaking-in the transaxle. This is considered ABUSE not USE. As with any duel clutch system...it needs time to cool(as indicated by a blinking red light on the dash)..This rumor has been spread(exaggerated) by GM fanboys that are trying to discredit the GT-R as an engineering marvel.

If you have a warranty claim on the transaxle and they fing evidence of ABUSE your warranty will be void....No car manufacturer in the world will cover ABUSE. You will have no problems with the launch control if you let it cool between run(as required with ANY dual clutch system i.e; Porsches new PDK system. This is a RUMOR! There have only been 2 transmission claims 2!!! in the US and BOTH were ABUSED and also not broken in properly. READ!

Broken in? Gears dont break in... I've been involved in racing since I was 3 and consquently all the cars I've had or worked on had transaxles(up until my most recent car). I remember when my fathers 944 was new he drove it like his old drag GTO. The 944 had a old school 5 speed transaxle and it still is all original, even with a 350whp setup on the engine. Corvettes have transaxles, how many of those have failed?

I think that you are forgeting the FACT that the GT-R is all-wheel drive. Nissan uses "Independent Transaxle 4WD"(Nissan Patent)so the FACT is you dont know SHIT. Do some research BEFORE you pop off.

Ok so its a automanual transaxle with a transfer case in the rear. I already knew that. I assume most people will know the GTR is awd so I dont see the need in mentioning it. The transfer case isnt breaking(which is very common in high hp awd vehicles) its the main transaxle gears that shred themselves to pieces. My pont was to show that older "obsolete" transaxles will hold the power of a GTR while launching at 4500(same rpm as the GTR).

Automanual refers to all flappy paddle gearboxes. Most all of the them are dual clutch nowadays; Audi, Mercedes, Cadillac, Ferrari, etc. Im 18 guess I just dont type on a retarded level like yourself...

An automanual is a manual transmission that can be shifted like an automatic. Double clutch refers to the fact that the tranny has no torque converter but instead uses two modulating clutches.

The price for a premium model R35 is around $71k without tax and everything else, some dealers mark it up an extra $20G, but you can try west palm Nissan on Military and see if you can get into talks about them ordering another model for you.

16-21 mpg for 500hp and a 0-60 time of 3.3 secs is really good, wtf r u talking about. 350z, rx8, supra, 300zx got about 20mpg and this gets a lil less and u get so much more.
