I was running Mint on my main computer basically waiting for next ubuntu distro to come out. I like mint's philosophy, but they don't really offer anything you can't put on ubuntu. It's just nice to not have to grab the codecs and stuff every time.
I also tried the new PCLinuxOS Gnome on another machine of mine recently, but all I have left is an ati card, so I've basically defaulted back to XP until I can get my box fixed.
I won't lie, I run a dual boot machine... Windows is there if I need it... which is quite rare these days... I use it to play games that won't work with wine...
god, i really can't even tell you how sorry i am for what i said, i'm just so fuckin embarrassed.:) isn't it weird when you look back at something you said or wrote and you just go "who the hell is that person saying those stupid things?" i've seen a lot of radicals go through that self-important phase of sectarian infighting bullshit, i'm really shocked i couldn't identify it when it happened to me!

You can download the patch drivers on their website btw. I got mine to work on Ubuntu & Gobo
