Hi there! Yes, I asked if I may ride the jumpseat while boarding together with the passengers. But I must say that since I am doing my pilot training with Pilot Training Network, which in turn is a company of Lufthansa Flight Training, I have a Lufthansa trainee's ID card, which makes it easier to get a jumpseat ride. I don't always get it, but it helps. Hope this answers your question.
