Is it just me over thinking, or does dogs head kinda look like one of the personality cores from Portal? (Those orb things that GLaDOS got her intelligence from) It would kinda make sense on different levels. HL and Portal were done by the same developers, Black Mesa was mentioned in Portal, and I hear that Portal 2 "might" include more of the HL story in it's own back story.

@Natedawg422 GLaDOS doesn't get her intelligence from the cores, they're simply addons. I won't say where she DOES get it from, for the sake of leaving portal 2 unspoiled, but it's definitely not cores. And yes, it's blatantly pointed out that Portal and Half-Life take place in the same universe.

Well, when I use the crowbar on a headcrab, it dies in one hit, if you shoot it with the gravity gun, it takes 3 hits (unless you shoot an object with the GG)

OMG THIS WAS MY FAVORITE CHARSCTER BY FAR!!! in all other games with dogs they try to make them all fuzzy and cute. But this one is AWESOME! I was sad when dog hung onto the spaceship and it flew away. But then a few chapters later I saw a van go flying around a corner and I was so glad it was dog.

Breaking crates are a bit easier with the Crowbar, in my opion.

@sanctumofficium Kill headcrabs. Also, to kill bigger things the gravity gun needs objects from the world, particularly saws or explosive / incendiary stuff, whereas the crowbar doesn't need anything and packs a huge punch. The crowbar is also faster when it comes to breaking stuff.

@Choominator To kill bigger things, use guns, unless your like me and whore the Grav-gun, I usually find something to chuck.

Yes, the Crowbar swings quickly and deals out a generous amount of pain (Crowbars that size are heavy, Gordon must work out or something), but its usually closing the distance thats a problem. You can get shredded by gunfire (which you can avoid by using the grav gun to take shelter) and against Zombies and Antlions you jump right into their attack range.
