Yes, friendship between a little alien boy and an older man, who wants nothing but to be "tamed." Oh, and I love when he says, "like your hair." And of course, after they finally succeed in touching, after much hestitation, their only response is the tango.

At 3:46, I sense the great uh... "tension" the fox feels in their friendship.

Don't get me wrong, I love the whole movie, and I've shown all my friends this part.

Seriously, this scene (movie in general) just makes me squeal. I love this friendship, so adorable and innocent and just AWWW. We watched this in French class after reading the book, and this made an already adorable chapter even more so. The dancing is just so cute...

I think the reason this video is off is the frame rate. It could be the original frame rate is 25fps (pal format say), And the video editor was using 30fps. Another error people make that only matters with long videos is that NTSC video is 30/1.001 = 29.97fps , not 30 fps.. Eventually the audio ends up off.. The audio is almost never wrong on duration, it's usually a frame rate mismatch. Makesure that the video file you produce matches and supports the frame rate of the source material.

i worked at Loews Tara theater in Atlanta in the 70's when this movie was released. I'd stand in the back of the cinema and watch this movie day in and out. I'd spend days off at the theatre watching it, almost memorizing every line. God bless
