What I'm saying was I just remember them being very much against the war in Iraq, it was all over a lot of their videos and when I saw them live they had banners all over the stage. Just like a lot of bands though *cough* NOFX *cough* it seems the second it became Obama's war(wars really, he's proven himself to be more of a warmonger then Bush) they move on. War becomes Kosher. At least as far as I've seen them lately.

He has budgeted way more towards the war then Bush and while Bush had Iraq, Obama has not just increased troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan but has started bombing Libya and Pakistan. He lied to all of us, and it's sad that artists who pushed for his election can't get past their ego's and say it was a mistake and speak out against him. I voted for him, I'll never make that mistake again.

Yeah, Rage Against the Machine's version is pretty damned powerful. You mention Bono's "shitty singing". To be fair, Zack actually never does "sing". He does rap/spoken word (spoken scream!) in their songs. You might hate this anyway, but here's U2's performance that I meant. Its from way back (1986) before Bono lost his singing voice. Its "Maggie's Farm along with John Lennon's "Cold Turkey".
